Prologue — The Last Breath on Earth

Death did not come with thunder.

It came quietly—

a hospital room, a flatlined monitor, and a mind still awake.

I remember thinking it was unfair.

Not the dying part—everyone dies.

But the timing.

Dragon Ball had taught me that death was temporary. Reversible. A setback.

Reality disagreed.

As the darkness closed in, my final thought was absurdly calm:

If I could choose any world to be reborn into… it would be Dragon Ball. Brutal. Unfair. But honest.

Then the universe answered.
