"What is that?" Val furrowed. "Aca..."
"The academy?" The boy completed his words, managing another deep sigh.
He looked like he was already out of breath... Or rather, exhausted from explaining the obvious situations even though Val was clearly clueless.
Val nodded. "Mm. What is so special about it that someone would chose to lose their freedom?"
"Not only is it special, it is hope for hopeless demons like you and I". With excitement in his eyes, the boy's expression brightened.
"Every slave demon's dream. A school built for strength. An academy where knights are trained to fight along side the demon king".
There's a demon king...
Val stared at the boy explain with so much joy in his eyes. For the first time since he got there, the boy exposed his canines.
