Chapter 7 - Chapter 5

Lucien sat alone in his bedroom, crimson hair falling over his forehead, amethyst eyes glinting in thought. The shop system lingered in his mind, but his thoughts drifted to everything he had learned—the past life, the magical world, and the events that had brought him here.

A soft knock at the door pulled him from his contemplation.

"Lucien… are you alright?" Venelana's voice asked from outside, with Claire following close behind.

Lucien smiled faintly. "Come in."

The two girls stepped inside, curiosity dancing in their eyes.

"What did you want to tell us?" Venelana asked, perching on the edge of the bed. Claire, slightly flustered as always, crossed her arms but leaned in to listen.

Lucien gestured for them to sit. "Sit, both of you. I have something important to share."

He took a deep breath and began. "I… remembered my past life. I was a businessman—a genius of sorts. But I died of old age. And then… I was reborn here. In this world."

Venelana and Claire's eyes widened.

"This world… is magical. Harry—my twin brother—is the protagonist known as the Boy Who Lived. He defeated Voldemort, and I… I lost my parents the same night."

He smiled faintly, almost wistfully. "After that, I was sent to an orphanage… and then, by sheer luck, adopted by the Lionhardt family."

The two girls gasped softly, exchanging glances. Magic is real… and he lived it before?

"Out of curiosity… in your past life, did you marry?" Venelana asked, leaning forward slightly.

Lucien shook his head. "No."

Claire, ever the tsundere, couldn't hide her surprise. "And how much… was your company worth?"

Lucien chuckled lightly. "Twice the current wealth of the Lionhardt family."

Both girls froze, eyes wide. This boy… is a genius…

They looked at each other, a warm feeling spreading through their hearts. Venelana reached out, taking his hand, while Claire's cheeks flushed bright red.

"Grandma and Grandpa… made us your fiancées," Venelana said softly.

Lucien blinked, a small smile forming. "I… I'm honored. And happy… to be the fiancé of two beautiful women."

Both girls blushed, looking away shyly. Claire's usual tsundere scowl softened into something warmer.

"And…" Lucien hesitated, "there's something else. I have a system. A shop system."

Their eyes widened in astonishment as he explained its functions—the ability to buy bloodlines, traits, skills, summon characters, and the monthly random sales.

"You… are incredibly lucky," Venelana whispered.

Lucien shook his head gently, a playful smile tugging at his lips. "No… I'm lucky to have met both of you."

The two girls exchanged mischievous smiles. Without another word, they moved closer, pulling Lucien into a warm, cozy hug. He found himself in the center of their embrace, with Venelana on his left and Claire on his right.

For the first time in a long while, Lucien felt a sense of complete comfort and belonging. The three of them settled under the blankets, hearts beating quietly in sync. Slowly, the exhaustion of the day, the grief of the past, and the weight of new responsibilities melted away as they drifted to sleep—together, as a family, as something more.

Lucien, nestled between his two fiancées, smiled softly in the darkness. This… this is what I'll protect. No matter what.
