"What are you?" Reed whispered.
The question hung in the air between us.
My mind was racing. My heart was pounding, and Reed's hands were still under my hoodie, burning against my skin.
"I'm—" I started.
Reed kissed me again before I could finish but this time it was different. It was angry, aggressive and all teeth, desperation and fury.
He bit my lower lip hard enough to make me gasp. His tongue invaded my mouth with bruising force. One hand fisted in my hair, yanking my head back.
I should have pushed him away, I should have stopped this before it went too far but instead, I grabbed his shirt and pulled him closer. I kissed him back with the same aggression, and the same anger. I let all the frustration and confusion and want pour into the kiss.
Reed growled against my mouth, the sound vibrated through my entire body. His hands were everywhere. Sliding up under my hoodie, tracing the lines of my ribs, and scraping blunt nails down my spine.
