Chapter 422: Everyone's Nighttime Activities
Looking at Eriri and Utaha hiding in the shadows, Kaede said helplessly, "What are you two doing?"
They were discovered... The two exchanged glances, and Utaha was the first to step out and say, "I didn't want to come originally, but Eriri insisted on dragging me along. She was just swearing she trusted Asakura-kun, but she couldn't resist in the end."
"Hmm~~~" Kaede narrowed his eyes, looking at Eriri and asking, "Is that true, Eriri?"
"Hehehe, of course not! I just finished up most of my work, so I came to check on you!"
While saying this, Eriri innocently walked over, grabbed Kaede's hand, and swung it back and forth.
Kaede knew exactly what the girl was thinking. He gently tapped her forehead with his finger and said, "You... what are you imagining? Kawashima just wanted to learn how to make soup, since she lives alone and eating is inconvenient for her."

Eriri had regretted sneaking over the moment she arrived, but since Utaha was also there, she had to grit her teeth and continue observing.
Seeing how Eriri was acting, Kaede smiled, lifted her chin, kissed her, and said, "Alright, go help outside. After all, this is the place we booked. It wouldn't do for the hostess not to be there to manage things."
Blushing slightly, Eriri nodded happily and pulled the speechless Utaha outside.
As they walked out, Utaha whispered, "I can tell now. You are absolutely tied down to Asakura-kun for life."
"Hmph, I'm happy to be."
Eriri swung her twin tails proudly and said, "I trusted Kaede-kun all along. It was you who kept talking nonsense into my ear. Don't say anything like that again, okay?"
Utaha subtly curled her lips and remained silent.
When Kawashima Ami came down after changing her clothes, she was holding a small notebook, looking like she genuinely wanted to write down recipes.
Seeing this, Kaede was not stingy. Besides the soup he was currently stewing, he taught her two additional recipes.
After Kawashima Ami had written them all down, Kaede said, "These three soups are relatively simple, but they taste good and are very nutritious. As long as you pay attention to the stewing time, you basically won't mess them up. After making them a few times, you can try looking up more recipes online to learn. Cooking isn't actually that complicated; it's just practice makes perfect."
Looking at the recipes she had recorded, Kawashima Ami said happily, "Thank you very much, Asakura-kun."
Shaking his head, Kaede said, "Alright, the soup needs to simmer for a while longer. Let's go outside. They've already started grilling the meat."
Following that, the two of them carried the vegetable salad prepared by Kaede out to the villa's courtyard.
The charcoal had all been set up. Kitamura Yusaku and Takasu Ryuji were standing in front of the barbecue grill, starting to cook in an orderly fashion.
After putting the items down, Kaede walked over and said, "Looks good. You've skewered a lot. It should be enough to eat."
"Of course it is."
Takasu Ryuji looked up and said, "All the chicken, beef, and lamb in the fridge have been brought out. It's nearly double the amount we ate at noon."
"Well, it is barbecue, and the weather was so hot at noon that everyone's appetite wasn't great generally."
While speaking, Kaede quickly snatched a freshly grilled skewer from Takasu Ryuji's hand and handed it to Eriri beside him, "Here, try it and see how it tastes."
"Okay!"
Eriri happily took the skewer, blew on it, and took a bite.
"Mmm~~~ It's perfectly grilled, delicious! Kaede-kun, you eat some too!"
Looking at the two people showing affection right next to him, Takasu Ryuji grumbled, "You two, that's enough! I just finished grilling it and you already took it! Ahhh, stop taking them!"
Under Takasu Ryuji's loud roar, Kaede snatched two more skewers, then ran off with Eriri to eat them by themselves.
Taking a deep sigh and looking at the other skewers that were almost ready, Takasu Ryuji shook his head, resigned to keep watching them.
Due to everyone's repeated requests, the barbecue tonight consisted mostly of meat, with vegetables making up only about thirty percent. Don't let the girls fool you with their talk of maintaining their figures; when they truly let loose and eat, they don't hold back at all.
Holding a beef skewer and a lamb skewer, Fujiwara Chika's mouth was full of meat. She chewed happily and said, "It's so delicious! Eating barbecue together is the best!"
Iino Miko stood beside Fujiwara Chika, also holding a skewer of grilled meat, eating small bites, and asked, "Senpai, you said last year you went on vacation abroad with your family. Aren't you going this year?"
"Nope, not going!"
Nodding, Fujiwara Chika said, "Because I accepted Asakura and Eriri's invitation, and having fun at the beach together is just as great, so I let my sister Toyomi and Moeha go abroad to play instead. Hehe, and luckily, I even get to stay over at Kaguya-san's house!"
Hearing Fujiwara Chika say this, Shinomiya Kaguya said helplessly, "Fujiwara-san, I don't mind you staying over, but could you please not run into my room in the middle of the night next time?"
"Aww~~~ But staying over and sleeping in the guest room is boring, isn't it? Aren't girl-talk sessions between girls the best? Ah, I have a suggestion!"
Holding up the skewer in her hand, Fujiwara Chika's eyes sparkled as she said, "Tonight, let's have a late-night girl talk session!"
The girls looked at each other. Since it was the first time so many of them had gathered together, they immediately agreed.
Then, time fast-forwarded to evening.
After showering, Eriri dried her hair and returned to the room. She said to Kaede, who was lying on the bedroom floor playing with his phone, "Kaede-kun, I'm going to go hang out with Chika-senpai now!"
"Mhm, go ahead."
Nodding, Kaede said, "But don't stay up too late. We have a lot of activities tomorrow, or you won't be able to wake up."
"Okay~~~"
After Eriri left, Kaede also received a message from Shirogane Miyuki on his phone.
After hesitating for a few seconds, he also left the room and went to Shirogane Miyuki's bedroom on the second floor.
Kaede was the last to arrive. When he entered, the other boys were already there, sitting around, eating snacks, and playing cards.
"Oh, Asakura, you're here. Come join us for cards and a chat!"
Shirogane Miyuki smiled and said, "This is the first time I've played like this during a training camp. It feels really interesting."

The atmosphere at the beach at night is so good, and you didn't even think to invite Shinomiya-senpai out for a stroll."
