Chapter 31 - Chapter 29

The Bifrost Opens

Rainbow light split the sky above Asgard.

Heimdall stepped forward.

Behind him—

Alexander Ashborn Odinson.

Three weapons floated silently behind his back, bound by runic threads.

The air shifted.

Not violently.

Respectfully.

Odin stood from his throne.

Frigga's eyes softened instantly.

Thor leaned forward.

Loki narrowed his eyes.

"…Those aren't ordinary weapons," Loki murmured.

Reunion

Frigga crossed the hall first and embraced Alexander.

"You've grown," she said gently.

Alexander smiled. "So has my understanding."

Odin's single eye fixed on the weapons.

"Step forward," Odin commanded.

Alexander did.

The weapons descended, hovering before the throne.

Odin Tests the Forge-Prince's Creations

Vortex Vanquisher

Odin reached for the spear.

The moment his hand closed—

The runes flowed like water.

Not resisting.

Acknowledging.

Odin spun the spear once.

The air folded inward.

A controlled implosion rippled across the hall—no damage, only pressure.

Odin stopped.

Silence.

"…This spear does not demand strength," Odin said slowly.

"It demands authority."

He looked at Alexander.

"You forged something fit for a Heavenly Father."

High praise.

Blue Rose Sword

Odin lifted the second blade.

Cold bloomed instantly—

Not biting.

Gentle.

He swung once.

The floor beneath froze into flawless crystal.

No cracks.

No shatter.

"…Perfect preservation," Odin murmured.

"This blade respects balance."

Frigga exhaled softly.

Night Sky Sword

Odin reached for the black blade.

The hall darkened.

Stars seemed to flicker along its edge.

Odin frowned—interested.

He tested it with divine pressure.

The sword absorbed it.

Converted it.

Returned it cleanly.

Odin laughed.

"A void that answers only its master."

He returned the blade.

"These weapons," Odin declared,

"would reshape Asgard's armory."

Thor & Loki Try Their Luck

Thor's eyes were practically glowing.

"Can I—?"

Alexander nodded.

Thor grabbed the Blue Rose Sword.

Instantly—

Cold surged.

Thor yelped.

"WHY IS IT SO—"

He swung too hard.

Ice spread unevenly and shattered.

The blade dimmed.

Loki laughed mercilessly.

"It's rejecting your enthusiasm."

Thor glared.

Loki approached the Night Sky Sword.

Smiling.

"This one feels like me."

He took it.

The blade hummed.

Darkness condensed—but did not obey.

Loki's illusion magic faltered.

"…It's not responding," Loki muttered.

The sword went dull.

Alexander extended a finger.

The blade instantly brightened.

Loki stared.

"…Of course it listens to you."

Sibling Envy

Thor crossed his arms.

"So let me get this straight," he said.

"You forge legendary weapons, defeat me without trying, and now even your swords refuse us?"

Alexander shrugged innocently.

"They're shy."

Loki groaned.

"I hate you a little."

Frigga laughed.

Odin smiled—proud, thoughtful.

Odin's Judgment

Odin raised his voice.

"These weapons are recognized as Asgardian Relics."

He looked at Alexander.

"But they are bound to you."

"Not because of blood."

"Because of worth."

The hall bowed.

Closing Moment

That night, on the palace balcony—

Thor stared at the stars.

"One day," he said quietly,

"I'll surpass you."

Alexander smiled softly.

"I hope you do."

Loki watched both of them.

"…The future is going to be troublesome."

And far above—

Yggdrasil's branches shimmered approvingly.
