"Welcome to the Lord Trial space..."
"This trial will assess the participant's potential through a scoring system. The higher your score, the greater your chance of obtaining high-quality Lord Crystals, blueprints, cultivation techniques, weapons, and specialized items."
"Therefore... please display your potential to the fullest!"
"Friendly reminder: This space exists solely for assessment. All actions have been simplified, and all character levels are fixed at Level 1."
A voice echoed slowly in Qin Feng's mind. Immediately after, a translucent data panel appeared before his eyes.

Looking at this data, Qin feng felt a surge of emotion. Every "Mastery" and every attribute point above the average had been earned through eighteen years of sweat and perseverance. While the "Charisma" stat was a surprise, it wasn't his primary concern. According to the guides he had studied, the trial was about to begin in earnest.
Qin Feng's nerves tensed. Suddenly, his surroundings shifted. In an instant, he found himself standing in an unfamiliar valley.
"A valley surrounded by mountains with only one exit," he noted, scanning the area. "Trees and fruit trees-harvesting them yields wood and food. Mineral stones; a few fruit bushes. I'll decide on those based on the situation"
Within seconds, Qin Feng had analyzed his environment and formulated a plan. He sprinted toward a wooden house deep within the territory at top speed.
In the Lord Trial, every participant started with the same total amount of resources, though the specific types and the geographical layout varied. Success depended on devising the most efficient development plan in the shortest time. One mistake could lead to wasted effort, a lower score, or even a premature "death" and failure of the assessment.
Qin Feng had spent years simulating these scenarios using online human guides. While resource management was a standard test, the main event was just beginning.
"Initial supplies: 1,000 units each of food, water, wood, and stone; five hoes; and one Elite Attendant Recruitment Card!"
Rushing into the wooden house, Qin Feng opened the storage box, scanned the contents, and immediately pulled out the 'Elite Attendant Recruitment Card'.
This card allowed a participant to recruit an assistant to help develop the territory. However, the recruitment was entirely random. Since all the participants and attendants were locked at Level 1, an attendant's profession and skills would largely dictate the territory's initial direction.
"Please be a combat type, please be a combat type..." Qin Feng muttered, activating the card.
In the Lord Trial, combat was the primary theme. Killing enemies yielded the highest number of points. While developing the territory also provided points, many of those milestones required combat-related achievements. Getting a combat-type attendant at the start was the ultimate advantage.
"Audy Fedi greets you, my Lord..."
Amidst a dazzling light, an old man in a magic robe emerged and knelt respectfully. Qin Feng was delighted-a mage! Mages were universally recognized for having the strongest large scale destructive power.
However, as he reviewed Audy's data panel, his smile vanished. His face fell, and he felt the urge to scream, "Did you put your skill points in the wrong place?!"
Qin Feng coughed, trying to maintain his composure. He looked at the old man and asked tentatively, "Audy... can you fight?"
"Audy?" The old man blinked, seemingly confused by the shortened name, but he noted the "ardent" look in his Lord's eyes. "No... I am a research-oriented mage. The only magic I possess is the immobilization Spell."
Qin Feng gasped. The immobilization Spell was typically used to fix object in place. At higher level, it could stop magic or even freeze a person. But Audy was only Level 1. Trying to freeze an enemy with his current power was pure fantasy.
Looking at Audy's other skills, Qin Feng looked toward the sky, sighing with tears in his eyes.
"A hell-difficult start..."
