Chapter 23 - Chapter 23

Just a teacher? Why trick my kid into coming to your house?"

"Mind your business!"

"Oh wow… getting emotional. Not normal. Looks like you can't handle it yourself. Need me to help, buddy?"

"I don't need a crazy person like you to help. Just keep your head away. The smell of alcohol… no wonder that little

one dumped you for a new husband."

"Hey Tod, I'm helping you! You don't understand a genius like me! I asked my father to send me to India the birthplace of religion, civilization!"

"To study religion? Bullshit! I broke every precept! I'm out, see ya!"

"Fine, go sell your liquor. Can't stand talking to a show-off like you!"

Honestly, I've got nothing personal against that teacher. It's just… every time I see him, something inside me just snaps.

CCXLI

How am I supposed to sit still and watch someone who lies to himself and

lies to his own kid strut around this

village like he owns the place?

Just because he's from Bangkok, he thinks he can walk all over us, right?

Well, then he clearly has no idea what the people of Wat Sra‑See village are

like.

And now that more people our age are moving back home like Ja or Benja, the childhood troublemakers I've known

since kindergarten things have only gotten more interesting.

Ja was always a strange one bold, reckless, downright insane sometimes just like the family he came from. His parents are animal lovers to the bone, so naturally he inherited that madness.

CCXLII

And lice? Yeah… lice practically run in their bloodline. His mom, his

sisters, himself their hair grow stupidly fast, so seeing that entire family shaving their heads because of lice infestations was literally just another Tuesday.

But listen, that animal‑lover freak

doesn't extend that kindness to his

enemies. He's the kind of guy who'll swing first and ask questions never. Which means the rest of us had to

help him beat up random villagers over stupid nonsense.

Before we all went separate ways, something happened between him and Pee, but neither of them ever said a

word. They just stopped looking each other in the eye.

CCXLIII

Now he somehow ends up doing a business similar to P's, except Pee actually tries to be professional, while Ja… let's be real Ja and "professional" don't belong in the same dictionary.

Because he has none.

Seriously. None.

When we were teenagers, Ja's hormones were insane he disappeared into the woods with girls all the time and popped out with a kid who's literally the same age as my kid.

But no one could ever stand his

weirdness. Every girlfriend ran away sooner or later.

His mom was kinda like mine always selling sketchy goods, smuggling things across the border, ended up making a ton of money selling bootleg booze.

My mom once asked his mom if he wanted to go study in America with me, but he like India.

CCXLIV

He studied, traveled, absorbed

everything about India way too much. And when he came back… he was even

weirder.

But at least his kid loves him.

Anyway that dumb plan to "pretend to be a ghost and scare the kindergarten teacher" was totally his idea. But honestly? Seeing that Bangkok teacher freak out was pretty satisfying.

Now that I think about it… what

should I do if I run into that city boy again?

Beat him until his braces fall off ?

Throw him face‑first into a rice field?

Shove a frog in his mouth? Or maybe an eel?

…Great. Now I sound lik

Scared of ghosts, but I wouldn't come here at night anyway people freak me

out even more.

All day, little Teng had been staring at me, yet he refused to speak. Every question I asked was met with a blank, sulky silence. He must really be mad at

me.

I feel stressed again, like this pressure inside me is about to burst… so what

now? Who could I possibly let it out with… who'd be good for a one-night

escape?

Crazy… calling that a "one-night stand" ? After all that, bodies all

tangled up, and yet somehow feeling attached from grandma to grandkid. Why is letting go of someone from the countryside so much harder than someone from the city?

CCXLVI

…Huh. I was lost in thought and now I've wandered all the way to Grandma See's garden house.

The garden house feels so calm and cool. Flowers surround the house,

filling the air with a sweet scent. At dusk, with the wind gently blowing, it's even more relaxing…

But honestly, it still doesn't compare to being with the owner of the house.

He took a hesitant step inside the house, heart pounding. It wasn't even seven yet, so it was only dim, not completely dark. His plan was simple go in quickly, grab what he came for, and get out.

There! A calendar hanging on the wall that had to be it. He dashed forward

without looking properly.

CCXLVII

Slap!

Whoosh!

"Whoa!"

The moment his hand reached out to

grab the calendar, the lights inside the house went out. Startled, his knees

buckled, and he raised both hands

above his head in a panicked bow.

"Sir..I..I came with good intentions! I'm here to get the lottery tickets like Mr. Benja said! I swear I'm not here for anything else. My family is rich, my parents sell gold we don't steal. We just like to play the lottery. Please don't be angry with me!"

His small voice trembled as he

stammered nervously, sitting down and keeping his hands raised high above his head in fear.

CCXLVIII

"Loving the lottery so much that you'd come to someone's house even though you could've said no… what kind of person does that make you?"

The deep, familiar voice made him squint. In the dim light, he could just make out the shadow of someone

sitting casually on a chair, legs spread, hands resting on the armrests, leaning back with an air of ease.

"The boss…?"

"Already rich, and you still come to work? Already rich, and yet you act poor? Already rich, and willing to risk yourself to pay off debts? Already rich, and think you can toy with anyone's heart? Why even do it?!"

The sharp voice rose, punctuated by the glow of the cigarette at the corner of that cruelly smiling mouth a mouth that always seemed to do wicked things to his body, making it burn with agitation every time they touched.

CCXLIX

"Tod…"

Luktan could barely recognize his own voice when the sharp features became visible under the red glow of the cigarette, the familiar scent hitting him.

"Yes… brave. Really brave. You dared to come in and stir up someone like me. You dared to act innocent, make

others let their guard down, and then tell them to stop contacting you, when everything you've done was a lie. Someone like you is…."

The low voice faltered, the cigarette drawn deeply, exhaling white smoke that lingered in the air.

"W-what could I do…? You've been a

bad boy all along; stopping for someone as plain as me is… hard to imagine, isn't it? If I hadn't listened to my family, it wouldn't make sense at all…"

CCL

The small figure slowly stood, head lowered, eyes fixed on the floor partly out of fear, partly from the rapid thumping of his heart now that they were face-to-face again.

"Is that so… a countryside nobody, and your family thinks you could never love or care for anyone in your life?"

The tall figure rose like a looming giant, voice icy, steps deliberate, closing in on the smaller body with unwavering eye both threatening and intimidating.

"N-no… it's not like that… I just.."

He couldn't think fast enough. Acting before he could even process it, the short legs scrambled to run. He had no idea how to handle the person in front of him, so he decided to escape first

and deal with the lottery matter later.

CCLI

Thud! A loud crack echoed as a

large hand seized the back of his neck, yanking him around and slamming him against the wall where the calendar hung. The impact was so sharp even the attacker winced from it.

The bigger man pressed forward immediately, body colliding with the smaller frame as if to pin him there, burying him into the cold wall.

"Just what?!"

"It hurts… l-let me go… are you trying to kill me or what?!"

His hair was grabbed next, head yanked back painfully but his body still trapped between the wall and that towering figure.

"When you rejected me that day, I swear I wanted to kill you. How dare you treat someone's first love like some

kind of joke, huh?!"

"Y-you… first love…? Your first love…"

CCLII

"Shut up! If you don't want to love, fine, but if you're staying here, you'll take it. This is my territory don't think being a civil servant will make me hold back. Perfect timing, too… I've been irritated a lot lately."

"No! Ugh!"

His shoulder-length hair was yanked back as a daring tongue invaded, claiming those small lips with bold, unrestrained force. The touch was

aggressive, pushing deep inside, while one strong hand grasped what was hidden under the trousers, squeezing without warning.

The pale, slender body was pinned tightly against his, unable to push him away. The firm arms were like iron

clamps every grip left marks across the soft white skin.

CCLIII

The thin, casual clothing was ripped off effortlessly. The small chest was pressed and squeezed by hot hands, reddening and stiffening into prominent peaks, just as the lottery master greedily licked and sucked with unrestrained abandon.

"Ugh… Ah… N-no… Tod… stop!"

"I'm taking it… Who could ever stop someone like me!"

"It hurts… your hands are too heavy!"

"Good. It should hurt, so you'll remember this touch forever so no one

else can ever replace it!"

"Ahhh!"

The kindergarten teacher's cries were

muffled under the firm, unyielding lips of the house owner. Her slender legs were lifted and wrapped around his thick waist as he moved back to the

chair he had been sitting in before. Her lower body was locked to his, while her upper body dangled, her head hanging down toward the floor.

CCLIV

A short, low chuckle escaped his throat before he resumed ravaging the petite, pale body, yet the savage seemed unsatisfied, teasing her most intimate parts with his fingers as if he wanted to take it all. Luktan's body tensed, clutching her stomach in both shock and pleasure.

Tod tormented her small frame,

scattering her senses, pressing his hips into her, driven by raw, instinctive desire an urge she could never resist when facing him.

The little kitten transformed into a

seductive tigress, grinding herself against his heated fingers, tongue darting over her lips just as it had the first time they were together.

Her half-lidded, lustful eyes watched as her prized parts were thrust and teased rapidly in the tight, overwhelming space, her body responding with wet, slick sounds, releasing herself in a flood of heated

desire.

CCLV

"You're so naughty… getting addicted to my touch like this do you really think you could go to someone else, huh?"

"I-it's… it's not the same thing… ahh…"

"You're going to tell me that someone lewd like me and someone so hungry like you can go through life without this?"

Slap, slap, slap!

"For someone like you, who seems bland on the outside but secretly craves being taken all the time… why would you waste it on some good, polite partner? Those people can only stroke your hair, kiss your cheeks, and do the same routine on a soft bed same

thing, year after year!

"Ahhh!"

CCLVI

"What are you dreaming about, teacher? Those gentle, perfect guys won't take you to heaven. Only

someone wicked like me can take you everywhere… both heaven and hell!"

The once-quiet garden house burned

with the flames of passion, over and over again. Loud crashes from objects scattered everywhere turned the space into their own playground of desire, never once reaching the bed.

Returning to physical intimacy after some time apart, letting their thoughts settle before diving back into each other, felt different this time. With

maturity and experience,

it seemed to shift something between them

and the change.. quite remarkable.
