I had just taken taken my bath and I was going through the fridge thinking about what to make for dinner, the someone knocked on my door. I froze, I normally never had visitors only Ella and it was pretty late.
"Who's there?" No reply but the person knocked again. I grabbed a knife and I moved closer to the door. I unlocked the door and twisted the knob. I opening slightly to see who was outside and I closed it back quickly. He was here, right outside my door.
I was panicking, I've never felt this nervous about someone but there was something about him.
I opened the door again. "Hii, how may I help you?" I asked.
"Im taking you out for dinner tonight" he replied casually.
I swear I almost choked on air
"Take me out for dinner?"; I asked angrily my eyes twitching .
I was angry and excited at the same time, this guy sure did make me feel a lot of emotions
"Yes dinner and I've made reservation for us"
"im not going to dinner with a complete stranger, a complete stranger whom I helped and brought him into my house and he left without a single bye or thank you" I ranted
"Okayy, think of it as an appreciation dinner. A thank you for saving my life" he replied
I eyed him from head to toe, I'm not going to dinner with a stranger. I was about to close the door but he placed his feet between the door to stop me.
"I'm not going to hurt you" he said softly
Now how was i supposed to refuse? h
He was driving me crazy.
"Fine fine, but I'll have to change" I finally gave in.

I was waiting outside Madelyn's patiently.
How long does it take a woman to change, or she changed a mind?
I've never asked this much question about a girl – lady –woman– in my life.
The door finally opened and when I saw Madelyn
Something in me twitched. I wanted to push her up that wall and kiss the hell out of her.
She cleared her throath.
"You look beautiful" I said.
She didn't reply. She locked her door and we went downstairs.
Her mouth flew open when she saw my car.
"This is your car?" She gasped.
" Yes"
"You're like a millionaire or something?" she asked.
"Billionaire" I replied
I opened the door for her and she got in.
When i entered, she was obviously nervous.
I mean who wouldn't be nervous to follow a stranger to dinner.
"I'm not going to hurt you" I assured her again.
We finally got to Pete's
"This is where we are having dinner?"She asked
"If you don't like it we can leave or go to another restaurant" I replied
"No no i like it,I like it"
Dylan had already made reservations for me, the waiter directed us to our table, it was right near the glass window and we could literally see the whole city from there.
The waiter came to ask for our orders.
Madelyn looked confused and uncomfortable.
You don't like the food?" I asked
"I don't know what to order" she replied , her head facing down.
"Screw this place, let's go" I grabbed her hand and led her out of the restaurant.
"Where are we going?" She asked
" You'll see" I replied

I opened the door for Madelyn and she got out, I took her to this really nice burger joint.
"You like here?"I asked and she nodded yes.
The waiter came to take our orders and few minutes later he came back with our burgers. I watched as Madelyn happily devoured her burger licking off the ketchup up and mustard stains from her hands.
"You're not eating yours?"she asked.
"I will" I replied. We finished our burgers and I watched as the breeze blew Madelyn's hair softly, she still didn't know that i knew her name. I didn't want to scare her off or come on strong. She was innocent and perfect and I didn't want to draw her into my ugly life and my mess but she wasn't making it easy.
