Chapter 040 Big Dumbass Yagami Takuya / Please Look at My Body More, Senpai

Shimizu Akira looked at Karuizawa Kei with some concern.

"Kei, how about you take a rest today?"

Although Horikita Suzune had just bickered with her, strictly speaking, a girl shouldn't engage in too much physical activity right after her first time.

"It's fine if just she and I go check in. You stay put in the tent," Suzune added.

Karuizawa Kei, however, waved them off with a smile. "I feel fine! Last night, rather than saying it hurt... it was more like..."

Halfway through her sentence, she suddenly clamped her hand over her mouth.

Shimizu Akira chuckled. "Alright, if anything happens, call me on the transceiver. If you get bored, didn't Chiaki buy you plenty of snacks? Don't hang any clothes out today; it's going to rain. Same for you, Suzune—the moment you see a sign of rain, get back to the tent immediately."

Karuizawa Kei nodded obediently. She was never curious about where her boyfriend got his critical intel.

Horikita Suzune also nodded; she knew Shimizu Akira was on good terms with the off-campus staff uncles and assumed the news had been leaked by them again.

Only then did Shimizu Akira feel somewhat at ease, turning to walk out of the three-person tent area.

In reality, Yagami Takuya's past few days had not been pleasant.

Pushing those two senpais had only taken a few seconds, and he believed he had handled the subsequent footprints and movement trajectory flawlessly. He had planned to swap for a new watch that very day, pretend nothing happened, and continue participating in tasks and check-ins.

To his surprise, Shiba Katsunori suddenly contacted him via the transceiver, saying he hadn't cleaned up properly and had left behind a witness named Shinohara Satsuki. Due to the darkness and shock that day, the girl hadn't been able to identify the culprit, but no one could say for sure what would happen later.

According to school rules, malicious harm to a classmate resulted in expulsion without question. To be safe and to avoid compromising his original mission, he had to hunker down in his tent deep in the forest for the past few days, not daring to show his face.

It wasn't until the morning of the seventh day that news finally came from Shiba Katsunori.

"I had teachers repeatedly question Shinohara Satsuki several times. She truly didn't see your face clearly; she likely didn't recognize you. You can come out and act normally now."

Yagami Takuya breathed a sigh of relief. "Understood."

Shiba Katsunori asked again, "Yagami, was this action taken to test the watch's positioning system?"

Yagami Takuya replied with a smile, "That was only part of the reason. Actually, I mainly wanted to scare Ayanokouji-senpai and Shimizu-senpai . Don't you think their panicked looks these past few days are quite funny?"

"So, what is your specific plan for this deserted island exam?"

"Hmm, unite the first-years to deal with Ayanokouji-senpai and Shimizu-senpai together. Oh, and there's an interesting senpai girl I think will be of great use in this special exam. Shiba-sensei and Acting Chairman Tsukishiro plan to personally handle those two on the final day, right?"

Shiba Katsunori warned, "Even so, to ensure those two don't realize the true objective, you and Amasawa must carry out interference plans simultaneously. If you delay our final arrangements, I will punish both of you severely. Obey orders faithfully, don't do anything redundant, and do not harm any more ordinary students of Advanced Nurturing High School. Do you hear me?"

The "punishment" he referred to was a physical beating from Shiba Katsunori. Although Yagami Takuya was from the White Room, he was more than just a little bit behind when facing Shiba in a direct confrontation.

"Understood." He set down the transceiver.

He had no interest in ordinary students. In his eyes, there was only Ayanokouji Kiyotaka, plus half of Shimizu Akira.

The reason it was only "half" was that Acting Chairman Tsukishiro had personally admitted that Shimizu Akira possessed combat power no less than a White Room assassin and had provided video evidence. However, Yagami Takuya remained skeptical. What could a single video prove? He didn't believe for a second that a mere student of this high school could be compared to a genius like himself from the White Room.

"Alright, time to go see my classmates."

He hadn't earned any points these past few days, but thanks to the top students from Class B in his group, the group's total score wasn't bad. He first searched for the location of his group members and met up with them.

Seeing him, they gave him worried and confused looks.

"Yagami, where have you been these past few days? You didn't participate in tasks, and we didn't see you at check-in areas. We searched your location, and you were actually at the deepest part of the forest... Honestly, we were worried something happened to you and almost asked the school to search for you."

Yagami Takuya put on a smile of apology.

"Sorry, sorry! Actually, on the fourth day, I wasn't feeling well, so I fell asleep in the tent. I've been resting these past few days and finally felt better today. My fault for making everyone worry; you've worked hard. I'll definitely participate in more tasks now to make up for the points."

After speaking, he immediately joined a nearby English task. An hour later, he took first place easily.

Seeing this, the members didn't say much more, only reminding him to be careful when acting alone and to at least use the transceiver to check in, before they went their separate ways.

"Alright, the trouble is finally resolved."

Yagami Takuya shook his head, pulled out his tablet, and spent some points without hesitation. He searched for Kushida Kikyo's location.

"So the senpai is in area B2... I'm coming to find you."

He smiled, put away his tablet, and walked in that direction.

.

.

.

Area B2 was a beach zone near the coast, with several task venues scattered around. After walking for over twenty minutes, Yagami Takuya finally saw his target near some reefs.

Kushida Kikyo was sitting there alone, tablet in hand, seemingly checking something. Yagami Takuya adjusted his expression, put on a harmless smile, and stepped forward quickly.

"Kushida-senpai!"

Kushida Kikyo looked up at the sound. Seeing the newcomer, she was a bit surprised but quickly flashed a familiar smile.

"Yagami-kun? Why are you here?"

"I just finished a task and happened to see you while passing by." Yagami Takuya walked to her side. "Are you alone, Senpai? I remember your group should have three people?"

"Haruka and Airi went to a different task; I'm waiting for them here," Kushida Kikyo explained. "Did you need something, Yagami-kun?"

"Nothing major, I just wanted to chat with you." Yagami Takuya looked at her. "You're so popular in school; I've always admired you."

"Admired me?" Kushida Kikyo chuckled. "You've said that more than once. What's there to admire?"

"Of course there is," Yagami Takuya said seriously. "You have such great rapport; everyone likes you. And you're Shimizu-senpai's girlfriend—speaking of which, I'm actually a bit puzzled."

"Oh? Puzzled by what?"

Yagami Takuya propped his hands behind him, looking up at the sky with a hint of innocence in his tone. "I thought a person as gentle as you, Senpai, wouldn't get a boyfriend at all just so you could take care of everyone."

Kushida Kikyo narrowed her eyes slightly. "The way you say that, Yagami-kun, makes it sound like having a boyfriend means I'd stop caring about others."

"That's not what I meant." Yagami Takuya waved his hands quickly. "I just feel that since you're so popular, if you have a boyfriend, many male students will surely feel lost and won't love you like they used to. For you, Senpai, that should be the most unacceptable outcome, right?"

Kushida Kikyo's eyebrows twitched slightly, and she laughed softly. "Hmm... right now, the most unacceptable outcome for me is actually the possibility of not being able to be with Akira-kun."

Yagami Takuya laughed out loud. "Kushida-senpai really likes to joke. Like I said, you and I went to the same middle school, so I know very well the 'disaster' you caused in the past. Your three favorite things are being needed by anyone, peeking into others' privacy and dark secrets, and controlling people, right? How could someone like you truly fall in love with someone else?"

Kushida Kikyo froze. This guy had just blurted out her true personality.

Sure enough, just as her boyfriend said, this person was a White Room assassin and had known her intel for a long time.

"And then?" Kushida Kikyo's eyes immediately turned cold.

Yagami Takuya was a bit surprised. "You're remarkably calm, Senpai. I thought you'd keep playing innocent and deny it, or just fall into a panic."

"Heh, how funny." Kushida Kikyo looked at him mockingly. "You've made it so clear, and you're my so-called 'kouhai.' What do I have left to defend? So, you 'baby-face' used the GPS system specifically to find me—what's the point? It wasn't to talk this nonsense, right?"

Yagami Takuya was momentarily speechless. Although he knew this woman's true face, the sudden switch—and being insulted to his face like that—was still a bit unexpected.

"Naturally, I have important business with you." He smiled. "Actually, I want to ask you to cooperate with me to get Shimizu Akira and Ayanokouji Kiyotaka expelled."

Kushida Kikyo looked at him with amusement. "You find me in private to ask me, the girlfriend, to personally expel my own boyfriend?"

"Yes, yes." Yagami Takuya nodded as if it were obvious. "Because I accidentally told others about your past, Senpai."

"What?" Kushida Kikyo glared at him anxiously. "Who did you tell? What exactly happened?"

"Hehehe." Yagami Takuya watched her changing expression with satisfaction, saying slowly, "I accidentally got cornered and beaten by Takahashi Osamu from Class A, Tsubaki Sakurako and Utomiya from Class C, and Housen Kazuomi from Class D. Under interrogation, I had no choice but to confess. Those four suspected you and I knew each other from very early on; I couldn't just brush it off."

"You dumbass! What the hell are you talking about?!" Kikyo directly cursed at him. "What relationship do I have with you? Aren't you a White Room assassin? Stop faking! This is just a pathetic excuse you made up because you want to threaten me into dealing with Ayanokouji and my boyfriend!"

Yagami Takuya's face stiffened. He knew Kikyo would be angry, but he hadn't expected this level of fury. With that cute face, so much profanity was coming out of her mouth. And... she already knew he was a White Room assassin? Did Shimizu Akira tell her?

"Senpai, it's not good to speak so harshly. I am your kouhai, after all."

"Kouhai?" Kushida Kikyo sneered. "Now that I've admitted my past, you still don't dare admit you're an assassin from the White Room?!"

"Whether I am or not, I truly am your kouhai; that can't be faked." Yagami Takuya nodded, saying dismissively, "But Senpai, cursing at me is useless. The problem now is that those four people have your dark past in their hands."

Kushida Kikyo stared at him as if looking at unrecyclable trash. "So? You want to use this to threaten me?"

"Not a threat, a discussion." Yagami Takuya threw up his hands. "You only need to do a small favor for me, and I guarantee those four will never speak of it."

"A small favor?" Kushida Kikyo laughed. "Ayanokouji aside, asking me to personally expel my own boyfriend is a 'small favor'? You've got some nerve saying that!"

"A boyfriend shouldn't be that important to you, Senpai," Yagami Takuya said nonchalantly. "The person you love most has always been yourself, hasn't it? It was like that in the past, and it's the same now."

Kushida Kikyo went silent.

Yagami Takuya continued: "Besides, Senpai, think about it. Shimizu Akira has so many girlfriends; you're just one of them. Even if he's expelled, you have other options. But if your past is known to the whole school, do you think you can still stay here?"

Kushida Kikyo knew very well how unspeakable her dark history was. If those things were exposed, the image she had painstakingly built for two years would collapse in an instant.

"So, Senpai, what have you decided?" Yagami Takuya asked with a grin.

Kushida Kikyo looked up at him. Suddenly, she laughed too. Her laugh was even brighter and sweeter than Yagami Takuya's.

"Yagami-kun, do you know?"

"Hmm?"

"You've made a huge mistake."

Yagami Takuya raised an eyebrow. "What mistake?"

Kushida Kikyo stood up, looking down at the shorter boy.

"You said I love myself most. You're right—in the past, that was true. But it's different now. Akira-kun... is the person I love most! Even I myself only rank second.

And, you've underestimated me too much."

"What do you mean?"

"It means...!" Kushida Kikyo laughed disdainfully. "Did you think you were the only one who could threaten people?"

Yagami Takuya froze. Kushida Kikyo straightened up and pulled out her tablet.

"I recorded our conversation just now. From the moment you said 'ask me to cooperate in expelling Shimizu Akira' until now."

Yagami Takuya's face changed. "..."

"What? Didn't expect that?" Kushida Kikyo laughed innocently. "Kouhai, don't you know me best? You should know that what I'm best at is collecting leverage on others, right?"

She shook the tablet. "If I hand this recording to the school, what do you think will happen? Maliciously plotting the expulsion of two students—that should give you plenty of trouble."

To her surprise, Yagami Takuya also began to laugh. "Senpai, you're amazing, thinking of using a tablet to record."

He suddenly lunged, snatching the tablet directly from Kushida Kikyo's hand. Then, without hesitation, he threw it onto the ground. He raised his left foot and stomped down hard.

Crack—

The tablet shattered instantly. Yagami Takuya pulled back his foot and looked at her with a smile.

"However, during this deserted island exam, there is no network at all. Even if you recorded something, it's only stored in the tablet's memory. In other words, as long as I destroy it, your so-called recording is meaningless."

"..."

Kushida Kikyo's face turned pale instantly. Yagami Takuya nodded, satisfied with her reaction.

"You're a smart person, Senpai. Fine, I'll take a step back too. Although I don't understand how you became so 'love-brained,' since you and Shimizu-senpai are true love, I'm not a monster. I won't force you to expel him. How about this instead: you cooperate with me to deal with Ayanokouji Kiyotaka?"

"...Tch." Kushida Kikyo grit her teeth. "What specifically do I need to do?"

"It's simple, really." Yagami Takuya smiled. "According to my inside info, Ayanokouji Kiyotaka will get into a fight with a kouhai today. You just need to record it with a tablet and hand it over to the teachers."

"Hilarious." Kushida Kikyo sneered. "Where am I supposed to get a tablet now?"

"Oh, then I'll have to trouble you to go back and get a replacement," Yagami Takuya said dismissively. "Tablets are like smartwatches; if they're accidentally damaged, they can be replaced for free."

"You bastard!" Kushida Kikyo couldn't help but curse out loud.

Yagami Takuya didn't care about her insults, as long as she was obedient. "By the way, this is a transceiver I specially prepared. Follow my arrangements when the time comes."

He handed over the transceiver. After confirming things were proceeding as planned, he turned to leave.

"Wait!" The pale-faced Kushida Kikyo called out to him. "Ike Kanji from our class—was that your doing?"

Yagami Takuya didn't even look back. "Hehe, I wouldn't know."

Watching his disappearing back, Kushida Kikyo's face changed again. The pale expression vanished, replaced by a mocking sneer. She pulled something from the inside of her clothes.

A voice recorder.

"You 'dead-baby-face,' did you think I only knew how to record on a tablet?"

Shimizu Akira loved using voice recorders; as his number-one girlfriend, how could she not have learned? She knew from the start that a tablet was useless as evidence in a place with

no network. Using the tablet as the first line of defense was just to bait out more intel, like getting him to admit to attacking Ike and the others.

Unfortunately, that guy was smart and hadn't admitted it even at the end.

Kikyo looked at the recorder in her hand and laughed with satisfaction. "Even though he didn't admit to being a White Room assassin, the evidence of him threatening me, breaking my tablet, and asking me to help expel Ayanokouji—this is enough to get him kicked out of this exam, right?"

However, according to what Yagami Takuya said, those four first-year kouhais already knew her past. If this continued, wouldn't her secrets be made public to the whole school?

The irritation made her want to kick a railing again. She took a deep breath, forcing herself to calm down. "No need to rush, no need to rush. I'm not alone now."

Her boyfriend would definitely give her a perfect solution. She tucked the recorder away, thinking she probably needed to return to the starting point. Without a tablet, she had no map and couldn't even check positions.

"Undeveloped little midget! Can't you keep your mouth shut? An arrogant brat like you will learn his place after being beaten a few times; you're not even fit to carry our Akira-kun's shoes!"

She couldn't help but mutter insults under her breath.

"This weather... there's no sign of rain at all."

Shimizu Akira finished checking in at the designated area and looked up at the sky. It was 8:00 AM; the sun was bright, the sky was clear for ten thousand miles—where was there even a hint of heavy rain?

"Shimizu-senpai, good morning!"

A familiar greeting came from behind. He turned around to see Nanase Tsubasa trotting to his side as agreed.

"Nanase, good morning." Shimizu Akira nodded to her.

"Senpai, you seem to have set out later than usual today?"

"Mhm, spent a little time with Suzune and Kei."

"I see..." Nanase Tsubasa looked up at him. "Then, Senpai, shall we go play ball on the beach now?"

"Now?" Shimizu Akira noticed she seemed a bit urgent. After thinking, he nodded with a smile. "Sure, whatever you say."

The two walked side-by-side toward the beach. Nanase Tsubasa seemed exceptionally quiet today, barely speaking along the way. Shimizu glanced at her a few times, finding her head slightly lowered as if in deep thought.

"Nanase."

"Yes?"

"You're a bit strange today."

"Am I?"

"Yes. Although you don't talk much, you're not the type to stay completely silent. What happened?"

Nanase Tsubasa was silent for a few seconds, looking like she wanted to say something, but finally shook her head. "...It's nothing."

"Alright."

They walked onto the beach they had discovered a couple of days ago. It was still just the two of them. Nanase Tsubasa took a volleyball from her bag, then pulled out a pouch.

"What's this?" Shimizu Akira asked.

"Sunscreen," she whispered. "Like we agreed, we need to apply sunscreen after playing."

"You remembered."

"Of course. Like Senpai, I keep my word."

After speaking, Nanase Tsubasa walked to the side to change. Shimizu Akira consciously turned away.

"Senpai, I'm changed."

Shimizu turned back. Nanase Tsubasa was wearing a yellow bikini today. Perhaps because she was getting used to it, she didn't cover her chest with her hands this time, instead naturally displaying her curves.

Only then did Shimizu Akira realize he had been focusing too much on her chest before; actually, those pale, long legs were also very eye-catching. White, tender, and exceptionally slender—he felt he could easily wrap one hand around them; they were truly great legs worth admiring for a lifetime.

Although Nanase Tsubasa was a bit airheaded, because she had been secretly paying attention to Shimizu Akira's reaction, she soon noticed his gaze had landed on her legs this time. Her face turned slightly red, and she instinctively pressed her legs a bit closer together. It

wasn't that she disliked it—if she did, she wouldn't have come out to play in swimwear—she just wasn't fully adjusted yet.

"Senpai, I'm a bit embarrassed."

"Sorry..."

"It's fine! It's my fault." She shook her head. "I said I was adjusted, but it seems I'm still not. You still have to apply sunscreen for me later... um, please keep your eyes on my thighs while we play. That way, I should be able to adjust faster."

Shimizu Akira's mouth twitched. He had never heard such a strange request in his life. "Are you sure?"

"Mhm. Haven't you always wanted to look, Senpai? Then look. If you look more, I won't be as nervous."

"Alright, then... shall we start playing?"

"Okay!"

The two stood on the beach and began to volley. Shimizu Akira tried his best to follow her request, keeping his eyes on her legs. It had to be said, those legs were indeed beautiful—long, straight, and fair-skinned. The problem was, as he looked, his gaze would instinctively drift upward.

Then he would be caught by Nanase Tsubasa.

"Senpai, you're looking up again."

"Should I apologize?"

"Yes."

"...Sorry?"

"It's okay, let's start over."

After a few rounds, Shimizu Akira finally managed to stare only at her legs. Nanase Tsubasa also began to relax.

"Senpai, are you only staring at my legs now?"

"Uh... yes. But don't you think this question is very strange?"

"I don't think there's anything strange about it."

"Alright."

After playing for over half an hour, Shimizu Akira was fine, but Nanase Tsubasa was a bit tired. He set down the volleyball. "That's enough, let's take a break."

Nanase Tsubasa wiped the sweat from her forehead with the back of her hand. "Senpai, please help me apply sunscreen."

Having said that, she pulled a bath towel from her bag, spread it on the beach, and lay down obediently, exposing her back. Then she turned back and handed him the sunscreen from her bag. She was remarkably well-prepared.

Shimizu Akira didn't rush to squeeze out the sunscreen, instead asking, "This whole set—plus the swimsuit, my trunks, and the volleyball—how many points did it cost?"

Nanase replied while lying down, "About fifteen hundred points for the set."

Fifteen hundred? Then besides the tent, everything went toward leisure?

"Since you're so short on personal points, why didn't you sell your points the day before the exam?" Shimizu Akira asked curiously. "I recall students can trade among themselves."

"That..." Nanase Tsubasa immediately became hesitant.

She practically had the words "secret story" written on her face... or rather, her back. His kouhai, despite her poor lying skills, was still trying to fool him.

"Senpai, um... you should help me with my back first..." Nanase Tsubasa urged softly.

Only then did Shimizu Akira's gaze fall upon her flawless white back. Nanase Tsubasa maintained a good workout routine, and her figure was tight. Especially her waist—it narrowed sharply from the ribs down, forming a slender curve that could almost be measured with a palm. Her entire back was clean and without blemish. Due to the exercise, a few tiny beads of sweat occasionally seeped out, sliding slowly down her spinal groove, leaving a faint, shimmering water trail.

Shimizu Akira suddenly understood why the ancients used "skin like ice and bones like jade" to describe girls; at this moment, Nanase Tsubasa's back truly deserved those words.

"Senpai... um..."

"What is it?"

"I still feel uneasy, I can't calm down, I feel a bit nervous."

"Then how about you do it yourself—"

"No." She interrupted him softly. "Just like with my chest and thighs, please keep looking for a while, Senpai. I'll be fine once I adjust."
