"Witch...?"...
Leon looked at Beatrice's face, and she looked horrified and pale, and was trembling. "What witch?"
Beatrice remained silent, and so Leon had to figure things out on his own, and gave Roberta as sharp glare as she looked ready to blast Beatrice to the stratosphere.
"The skill said the witch is dead. Beatrice, I know you're afraid, but speak up. No one here is going to hurt you." This was probably the secret she didn't want to talk about.
Beatrice gulped, bent down, and prostrated herself. "Please... forget you heard anything."
Looking at how terrified she was, Leon sighed. "Fine, but a compromise. I won't forget or pretend like we didn't just hear that, but I won't press you on it. I already got a vague idea about what it is anyway."
Three years ago, a witch who lived in a nearby swamp and was a menace to everyone suddenly disappeared. All of her activities and curses faded away, so a year later, when the witch's illusion barrier disappeared and the swamp became relatively safe, soldiers were sent to explore it and locate the witch.
When the soldiers located the hut, they found it abandoned and empty, but they noticed that the hut had enough living space and furniture for two people... but they didn't find any corpses until two days later, when one finally spotted a grave hidden deeper within the swamp.
When the soldiers dug the grave, they found it empty. It was determined that the witches had probably moved to a different location and tried to fake their deaths, but it didn't make sense for them to leave one grave... if they both died, then... You gotta find two corpses, as no one would be left to bury them, and if one died before the other, you'll find one grave and an exposed corpse.
The nobles eventually gave up the search as mere mortals cannot figure out how witches think or work, but Leon had a strange idea... maybe one of the witches, the oldest one who could maintain the curses, magic, and barriers, had died, and the second one was forced to flee.
Beatrice here could be the witch who survived and left that grave. The older witch's student, daughter, servant... it didn't matter. She is here, and she isn't going anywhere.
He put his hand on her head. "Let's see what jobs you got. I'm not kicking you away or doing anything. We got a bloodthirsty serial killer here with us after all; what's another troublemaker going to cost us?" He shrugged, and she started crying.

"Huh..." Everyone gasped for a moment, and the one shocked the most was Beatrice herself... What did Leon's skill mean by saying that her skill had evolved and ranked up... What's this talk about divine blood? And did it it just try to evolve [Shockwave] all the way to [Storm Emperor]?
"Well... that was unexpected." Leon smiled and tapped her head a few times. "Heard that? You now have [Lesser Weather Control] instead of just shockwave. That should allow you to get better use of your skill."
"No... I'm not... why?" She was about to start crying, but then Roberta tapped her on the shoulder. "Lucky one, to think your skill would evolve like mine." She looked at her with a smug smile. "But don't get so high on your horse. Try anything funny, and a brain aneurysm would send you to heaven, or hell... or wherever witches go."
"I'm not... wait, now I'm a witch... a real one." She looked at Leon and he smiled. "We'll talk about your past later when you want to talk. For now, I made a witch, and so that's on me."
"You're his maid now." Noel looked at her. "You do whatever he says, no matter what. If he says it's okay to be a witch, then it is okay." She gave her a sharp glare, and then looked back toward the carriage. "Check what skill she has to purchase. We don't have much time. They seem to be looking for us."
Leon immediately rested his hand on Beatrice's shoulder and checked what skill she has to purchase. All of them sounded scary.

Leon blinked several times, and so did everyone else. "What do you mean she has a Lord class skill? Lord of Unholy Barriers? What the fuck is that?" Roberta gasped, and Beatrice mumbled... "That witch mother got to set the hut's unholy barrier to keep intruders out was a Master..."
Beatrice immediately closed her mouth with both hands, and Roberta's face cracked into a large grin.
"So the witch was your mommy..." She giggled, and Beatrice panicked. "No! I didn't say that. I was just..." Leon tapped her on the shoulder. "Relax, it doesn't matter. The cat is already out of the bag. Can't put it back in."
Leon then checked his skills. "So... try your skill."
Beatrice took a few seconds and calmed down, then closed her eyes. "I... can manipulate the humidity in the air, temperature, and the direction of the wind. It's subtle, but given enough time and focus, I can shift the direction of clouds, most likely."
She pointed at one of the clouds in the sky. "I can nudge it a bit, but that should be enough for the next city not to have rain."
Leon smiled. "If it can move it away, then it can bring it. When I get land, I'll have you make it rain so we can plant everything I want!" He lifted his hand and tried to activate the skill, only for the entire cloud to just bolt it away behind the clouds as if it were moving in a typhoon.
Everyone around the carriage panicked as they saw a whole cloud just run away, and Leon gasped. "Wait..." Checking his skills, he could see it there. His version of [Shockwave] didn't evolve into [Lesser Weather Control] but into the full [Storm Emperor]
"Why... do I have that?"
[Notice: The Sultan's body is far stronger and magically blessed than Beatrice Saintly's. Her skill is now merely nerfed back to a version that she can handle. Since your body doesn't need the nerf, it gets the full power of the skill.]
"Huh... so... I got [Storm Emperor] Because I can handle it... by the way, what class is Sultan's Harem, do you know?"
[Notice: Sultan's Harem is a Sultan Class skill. Only one exists in every Realm of Existence, and it's the skill that the ruler of the said Realm of Existence has. It is one rank above Emperor.]

The Mortal Realm, where we are now.
The Shadow Realm, where Death and their reapers resides.

The Nether Realm, where the Devil and their fiends resides.
The Void Realm, where the Outsider and their abominations reside.
