In a high school, a group of 8th-grade boys who were part of the cricket team would regularly select 10–20 players and play matches on the school ground from 3:45 PM to 5:15 PM. After the game, they would go home.
One day, at exactly 3:45 PM, all 20 boys suddenly found their hands covered in thick black ink and their eyes turned completely pitch black. Panic spread among the boys and throughout the school. A teacher noticed the strange black substance on their hands, managed to wash it off, and their eyes returned to normal. However, they soon discovered a terrifying pattern: every time they washed their hands afterwards, their eyesight worsened. The only thing that prevented the black ink from appearing and even restored their vision was playing cricket on the ground at exactly 3:45 PM.
To stay safe, the 20 boys played cricket every single day at that time until they finished 10th grade and passed their board exams. Once they left the school, the curse never returned for them. After the incident, the school permanently banned the use of the playground, and due to the frightening rumors, admissions dropped sharply.
