At Mr. Sheldon's mansion, Bruce arrived home. He angrily walked to his room.
He flung his school bag on the floor and kicked the door.
"How the hell did he know about me and Leo?" he asked as he aggressively combed through his hair with his hands.
"If I fight him and I lose, I'll lose my position as the school's top dog and Dad won't trust me with the organization anymore," he said in a frustrated tone.
A few seconds later, his eyes lit up. He brought out his phone from his back pocket. He dialed someone's number and a few seconds later, the person picked up the call.
"Dalton, tomorrow, bring the scopolamine patches," Bruce said and hung up.
Bruce smirked and walked towards his bed. He fell backwards on his bed as he laughed like a crazy person.
The next day in school, Bruce walked into the classroom and walked over to Brittney.
Brittney smiled broadly at Bruce.
"Hi, Bruce," she said, adjusting her hair and blushing.
"Hey, Britt, can I see you for a moment?" he asked, and Brittney stood up abruptly.
"Of course," she said aloud while smiling foolishly.
"Let's go outside," Bruce said as he held Brittney's hand.
Brittney followed him gently, her face all red. She continued smiling foolishly as if she was on cloud nine.
They stood outside, a little bit far from the classroom.
"I want to ask you for a favor, but if you can't do it, it's okay," he said in a non-convincing tone.
"I will do it!" she shouted abruptly, startling Bruce. Then she covered her mouth. "I will do anything if it's for you," she said with a smile.
"I want you to put these patches on Leo's neck without him noticing. Can you do that for me?" he asked as he put two scopolamine patches in Brittney's right hand. Scarlett saw them and stood somewhere far away behind them.
"Of course, I can," she said with a smile as she played with her left foot on the ground.
"Thank you so much," Bruce said and kissed her left hand, then entered the class.
Brittney stood there and stared at her left hand. Scarlett walked towards her.
"Were you born stupid or did you just decide to be stupid?" she asked, and Brittney eyed her and wanted to leave. Scarlett quickly stood in front of her.
"What was the favor he asked you to do? It sounded like a wicked favor but I didn't hear it well. So what was it?" Scarlett asked with curiosity all over her face.
"Get out of my way," Brittney said as she shoved Scarlett aside.
"Are you going to let him use you without you getting anything in return?" Scarlett asked as Brittney walked away. On hearing this, Brittney turned back.
"Yes, I will let him use me as long as I can express my love," she said and left.
"Wow, I am so lucky that I wasn't created as a stupid person. He obviously knows she likes him and he is just using her love for him, but she is too dumb to see," Scarlett said and walked towards the class.
During lunch break, Leo sat at the table alone in the cafeteria. Brittney stood afar off. She swallowed her saliva hard as she looked at the scopolamine patches in her hand. She exhaled, then ran towards Leo.
"Ted, there you are," she said and hit Leo's neck with a smile on her face while everyone turned to see what was happening. Leo turned back and Brittney moved back.
"I'm so sorry, I... I... I thought it was Ted," she said and quickly left. She passed beside Bruce and signalled to him that the mission was done. Bruce smirked and drank water.
Leo didn't say anything; he just continued eating.
During closing hours, everywhere was bubbling as students were talking amongst themselves as they walked through the hallways.
Leo hung his backpack on his right shoulder and came out of the class. Suddenly he felt dizzy. Everything started turning and he started staggering. He leaned against the wall, then suddenly he got a kick from behind.
He fell to the floor and everyone's attention shifted towards them.
"Today's the D-Day. It's time to fight, Leo. Stand up, I want to see if you can dodge my punch," Bruce said while his guys looked at Leo with mocking looks on their faces as Leo struggled on the floor.
