Alan walked up to the fallen body.

The remains of the Elite Armored Needle were still twitching faintly. The silver threads attached to it gradually lost tension and slipped to the ground.

He crouched and checked the drop.

Among the remains, there was a thicker bundle of silver thread.

[Refined Silver Thread Bundle]

Attack Power: 300 ~ ????

Durability: 2,500 / 2,500

A refined form of silver thread created from the core of an elite armored needle. The threads are denser, stronger, and contain a higher concentration of magic power. Compared to normal silver thread, it is easier to control and can maintain stable shapes even under pressure.

Conditions of Use:

Secondary Weapons Mastery Advanced Level 5More than 2,500 dexterity

Additional Effects:

Faster deployment speed Improved control stability Can maintain shapes for a longer time Higher compatibility with magic infusion

Weight: 8

Alan examined it briefly.

"Better quality," he said.

He stored it and stood up.

The chamber became quiet again.

The remaining Silver Needle undead at the edges didn't move. They stayed in place, as if waiting.

Alan looked toward the back of the room.

There was another path.

Wider and darker than the previous one.

"…Not over yet."

He walked forward.

The moment he stepped past the center—

SHHHK—!

All the remaining undead attacked at once.

Threads shot toward him from every direction, filling the space.

Alan didn't stop.

He kept moving forward.

His body shifted slightly—left, right, then forward—just enough to avoid every incoming thread.

SHHK—! SHHK—!

The sharp sounds filled the air, but none of the attacks touched him.

He didn't counter right away.

He closed the distance first.

Then—

Boom—!

His strike landed on the nearest undead, breaking it instantly.

He moved again without pause.

Boom—! Crack—!

Another one collapsed.

The attacks continued behind him, but he didn't look back.

His movements stayed efficient and precise.

Within seconds, all the enemies were destroyed.

The chamber fell silent again.

Broken bodies covered the ground.

Alan continued walking deeper without stopping.

The corridor ahead was darker.

The walls showed signs of damage, as if something stronger had been moving through this area.

After a short distance—

…Step.

…Step.

A faint sound echoed.

Alan slowed down.

"…Something different."

He moved forward.

The corridor opened into a larger underground hall.

The ground was uneven and cracked, with burn marks spread across the surface.

At the center stood a single figure.

It looked humanoid, but its body was covered in layered silver threads that formed something like armor.

Its arms were longer and sharper.

Behind it, multiple threads floated in the air, moving like extensions of its body.

Its head lifted slowly.

Two faint lights appeared where its eyes should be.

[Elite Silver Needle Commander]

Alan stopped a few steps away.

"…So this is the boss huh."

The creature didn't move immediately.

The threads behind it spread out, covering a wide area.

Then—

SHHHHHK—!!!

All of them shot forward at once, forming a dense wave with no gaps.

Alan moved forward instead of retreating.

At the last moment, he lowered his body and shifted slightly.

The threads passed by him, cutting through the air and grazing his clothes, but none hit him.

He kept moving and closed the distance.

The threads reversed direction instantly—

SHHK—!

They came from behind.

Alan stepped forward again.

Boom—!

His attack landed on the creature's torso.

The impact echoed, but the body didn't break.

The threads tightened around it, reinforcing the defense.

"…Defensive type."

The creature raised one arm.

SHHHK—!

A concentrated thread shot toward him at high speed.

Alan tilted his body.

The thread passed by and cut deeply into the ground behind him.

He stepped in again.

Boom—! Boom—!

Two strikes hit the same spot.

Crack—

A small fracture appeared.

The threads reacted quickly and wrapped toward his arm.

SHHK—!

Trying to bind him.

Alan pulled back immediately.

The threads tightened but failed to catch him.

"…Trying to restrict movement."

He adjusted his stance and moved again.

This time faster.

He changed direction mid-step and approached from the side.

Boom—!

Another hit landed.

Crack—!

The fracture widened.

The creature increased its attack speed.

SHHHK—! SHHHK—! SHHHK—!

Threads attacked from multiple angles.

Alan didn't block.

He avoided each one with small, precise movements.

Then—

He stepped in again.

Boom—!

A direct hit landed on the same weak point.

Crack—!!!

The outer layer broke apart.

For a moment, the threads lost structure.

That was enough.

Alan continued without pause.

Boom—! Boom—!

Two more strikes followed.

The body collapsed.

The threads fell to the ground.

The light in its eyes disappeared.

Silence filled the hall.

Alan stood still for a moment.

"…Done."

Alan stepped closer to the remains.

The body of the commander had completely stopped moving. The silver threads that once surrounded it were now lifeless, scattered across the ground.

He crouched down and checked the drop.

This time, it wasn't a weapon or material.

It was a small, old booklet.

Its cover was worn, but faint silver patterns could still be seen on it.

Alan picked it up and opened it.

[Armored Needle Creation Method]

A rare-rated skill.

A technique that allows the creation of Armored Needle undead using special silver threads and corpses as the base.

This method was developed by combining necromancy and thread manipulation.

Conditions of Use: Necromancer-type class, or possession of dark attribute mana.

Alan read through it calmly.

[Armored Needle Production]

You can convert a corpse into an Armored Needle undead.

The quality and rank of the undead depend on the condition and level of the body used.

Only humanoid-type bodies can be used. Monsters and beasts are not compatible.

If the level of the corpse exceeds the creator's level, the creation will fail. ]

" Hmm a useful skill somewhat" he mumbled thinking if he could create a ery powerful silver needle if could use a legendary body.

Alan learned the skill on the spot and continued to move deeper into the dungeon.

"Light…?"

Alan's vision finally adjusted as he moved deeper into the dungeon.

Until now, the surroundings had been dark, with the walls absorbing most of the light. But here, the environment was different.
