Chapter 14 - Friends

The train had departed from the platform 9 3/4, large grasslands and galloping horses can be seen from inside the train.

Isabella was lost in reading her transfiguration textbook, memorising the spells and precautions like beginners should not practice alone.

Finally, Draco Malfoy spoke breaking the silence in the cabin

"So, Isabella, if you don't mind me calling you that, where are you from."

"I live in London" came her reply in a calm and elegant tone.

"No, i mean what do your parents do."

He proved again.

"Oh my parents don't do anything" Isabella said.

"Oh that means you must be very rich, if your parents don't work." He tried to confirm in a joking tone.

"We are indeed rich but, our being rich has nothing to do with my parents working." She stated as it was true, it's not that they didn't work it's that they can't,

"Oh than, why don't your parents work." Asked Blaise zabini intrigued by her previous statement.

"Both of them passed away five years ago."

She answered calmly.

All the other people in the cabin glanced at each other's faces seeing the same shocked expression on others faces they confirmed that they didn't hear wrong.

Daphne, who was sitting beside Isabella grabbed her hand and spoke "sorry, Isabella we didn't know about it."

The boys also said "sorry for your loss, isabella"

Draco Malfoy quickly apologised "I shouldn't have asked about your private matters."

"No need to apologise it was a long time ago, and it isn't exactly a secret to hide"

She told them.

Than Daphne asked in a worried tone

"if your parents passed away a long time ago than who do you live with"

"I live by myself" Isabella told her.

They all were shocked "you live by yourself, alone" asked Theodore.

"How do you manage all the work and where do get the money from" inquired Draco.

"I don't do anything we have servants to do the work around the mansion and as for money my family is quiet rich, so I don't have to worry about the money." Isabella spoke in a calm voice.

Hearing this they all were shocked.

They were even convinced she was a pureblood because she was beautifull and rich and had a mansion where she lives alone with many servants to do her work.

If even she was not a pureblood, than who in the whole wizarding world could call themselves pureblood, thought all the people in the cabin.

"So, are you pureblood?" asked Draco Malfoy.

Here comes the question, she was waiting for a long time. She very well knew what it meant but she still feigned ignorance.

"What does it mean?" She asked innocently.

"It means, is everyone in your family wizards" said Theodore or Theo for short.

"I don't know " Isabella told them," I never met my grandparents and my parents passed when I was only six, so I really don't know" it was true she really didn't know if her parents were wizards or not.

You must be, look at you said Daphne and everyone looked at Isabella

Isabella was sitting beside the window, the gentle breeze brushing against her shining silver hair, her purple eyes sparkling like gemstones.

Inher one hand she held the book other one rested on her legs with diamond inlaid watch tied around her wrist.

You really are a pureblood and even if you are not we won't mind as long as you are sorted into Slitherin, we can be roommates smiled Daphne while speaking to her.

The boys also nodded in agreement.

Because she really was elegant and beautiful truly perfect especially her silver hair with a rint of purple they have never seen hairs or eyes like hers before.

"Than friends" asked Blaise

"I thought we don't need to ask that" joked Isabella making everyone laugh.

As they were joking there was ak ock on the door, it was an old lady holding a trolley

"Want anything, my dears" she asked.

Isabella nodded and pulled out some galleons from her pockets and said we will take everything.

She turned towards the others and said "since we became friends I will treat everyone."

The other nodded in agreement, as they thought they could treat her next time.

The lady handed the candies to them and left.
