Saige frowned softly as he performed his magic scan, the results not coming out at all how he expected. The light of his hands dimmed for a moment, before flaring to life once more. They glowed even brighter this time as his eyes turned pure white and the hint of a pure aura radiated from his body.
But once again he came up with nothing. Again and again he checked it, his ears pressing against his head whilst his tail bristled with annoyance.
After the second attempt Lilith had stepped forwards, whispering some calming words to him as she could see the irritation start to grow on his adorable face. Belladonna, on the other hand, simply tossed the heart in her hand to the side and looked over the corpse curiously.
She didn't know exactly what it was that her brother was looking for, only that it involved some kind of corruption of the local animals. All she could think about when she looked at the boar was how it would taste.
