Infusing memories with Divine Sense, shaping a new personality, and replacing the original soul is quite a trick. It is truly amazing that he could think of such a thing. Within the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, the Divine Thought of the God of Destruction spoke with a tone of genuine surprise.
Kong Mingan had summoned this powerful being through a God Trial, and for the first time, the God of Destruction actually praised Tang San. The God of Destruction shook his head and let out a small sigh as he looked at Kong Mingan.
He explained that although it was clear this was Tang San's method, the soul and body the boy possessed right now were technically original. According to the laws of the God Realm, he really could not act against him because he was seen as a successor of Divinity carrying out a trial.
Kong Mingan nodded his head slowly. He knew that filling people with fake memories and shaping their personalities was a common move for the one he called Tang Fozu. In the original stories, characters like Wang Donger, Wang Qiuer, and that strange stitched monster Tang Wutong were all results of Tang Fozu's meddling. One had to admit that Tang Fozu really lived up to his reputation for finding ways to exploit every single loophole in the rules.
The God of Destruction stopped talking for a moment and then started to laugh out loud. He waved his hand through the air, and a magical projection appeared. It showed everything Tang San had been doing lately, and he pushed the image toward Kong Mingan so he could see.
He told Kong Mingan that even though the Sea God was trying hard, the Plane Will of this world really did not like him at all. The God of Destruction looked extremely happy. This was probably the best mood he had been in since Kong Mingan told him he could help solve his problems with having children.
Kong Mingan took a quick look at the projection and saw a pathetic scene. Tang San was being kicked around on the side of the road by several large, strong men like he was nothing but a dead dog.
Kong Mingan had to cough to keep himself from laughing out loud. Even though it was just a picture, he could feel how much the Plane Will hated this person. It was clear the world itself had a deep grudge against its former Son of Luck.
The God of Destruction explained that while the Plane Will could not kill Tang San because he carried a God Trial and a bit of Divine Sense, it could certainly make his life a living nightmare. Everything that could go wrong for him would go wrong. Even the small bit of Divine Sense Tang San carried had been worn down a lot recently just trying to keep him from being beaten to death by random strangers.
If that power were to fully come out now, it would not even reach the level of Divinity anymore. If it did try to reach that level, it would mean Tang San had broken the rules once again by bringing Divine Sense down to the mortal world.
Kong Mingan realized that this meant Tang San was not a threat at all. If the boy could not use the power of a God, then he could not hurt Kong Mingan. And if he did try to use that power, the God of Destruction would have a perfect excuse to step in and stop him. The God of Destruction was very excited about this idea.
His old friends had left him with so many problems to fix when they left the God Realm that he was feeling very tired and stressed. Being able to legally hit something to vent his anger felt good. It was even better because hitting this version of Tang San felt like punching the old Asura God, which made the God of Destruction even more interested in the situation.
They looked at Tang San through the projection. Outside the poison array, Tang San's face was making many funny expressions. Kong Mingan felt much more relaxed about this version of Tang San now that he understood the situation. The man and the god watched the boy outside the array in silence. They saw him start out calm, then get very angry until his eyes turned red.
He was breathing hard like a tired ox, and finally, he realized he could not get past the poison array. He had no choice but to leave in a bad mood. The God of Destruction did not care much about Tang San because the boy was too weak to be a real challenge. He just thought of Tang San as a funny show to watch when he was bored.
Kong Mingan, however, was thinking about how he could use this. He wondered if he could use the Sea God trial on this Tang San to take away Tang Fozu's position as the Sea God. He even thought about finding a way to mess with his position as the Asura God. He knew that to beat an enemy, you should not only get stronger but also make your enemy weaker. Since Tang Fozu was stuck outside the Douluo Plane, Kong Mingan had not found a way to reach him until now.
This felt like a great opportunity had been dropped right in his lap. He watched as Tang San walked away and accidentally ran into a group of flying Spirit Beasts. The boy had to run for his life with his hands over his head. Kong Mingan thought it would be a lot of fun to throw him into Shrek Academy later.
The little event with Tang San ended for now. This version of the boy was just too weak to matter. Other than being funny to watch, he had no use yet. To make sure nothing went wrong, the God of Destruction put a special mark on Tang San. If the boy ever broke the rules, the God of Destruction would know and could step in.
As a little gift, Kong Mingan could use his own trial to watch Tang San's unlucky life whenever he wanted. It was like having a TV show that never ended. Life went back to normal for a while. Time passed slowly at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, and soon more than a month had gone by.
Kong Mingan sat by the cold spring of the well. He was very quiet, and his energy was hidden, but he was slowly connecting with the elements around him. He closed his eyes and raised one hand. With just a thought, a bright, clear light started to glow under his skin. His arm started to look like it was made of pure energy, even though it still felt like normal skin and bone. He had finally finished the perfect version of Elementalization.
He had spent so much time practicing and focusing that he had finally succeeded. Kong Mingan smiled because he was very happy with his hard work. He opened his eyes and suddenly saw a pair of blue eyes very close to his face.
The Snow Empress had walked up to him while he was practicing. Her beautiful face looked like she was very curious about what he was doing. Her long white hair was blowing in the wind and touching his face. Kong Mingan called her name, and she seemed surprised that they were so close to each other.
A small look of shyness passed over her cold face. She stepped back and looked away, saying that it was nothing. Kong Mingan laughed a little bit at her reaction but did not tease her about it. He reached out and took her hand. Her skin felt cool and soft in his palm. He looked into her ice-blue eyes and smiled as he helped her stand up.
He told her it was time to go. He used his other hand to open a gray door that led to the Undead demi-plane. He led the Snow Empress through the door so they could begin their trip. They had planned this journey a long time ago. They were going to a place called Dragon City, which was a big city in the northern part of the Tianhun Empire.
Dragon City was a tough-looking place where most of the buildings were made of huge, heavy stones. Inside the city, at the main office of the Mingmeng Chamber of Commerce, a glowing door appeared in the air. Kong Mingan and the Snow Empress stepped out of the door together, ready for their next task.
