Chapter 5 - CHAPTER 4:THE BEAST LANDS PART 2

''Dragon?'' The mysterious figure says with a slight tone of hostility in its voice. The group give each other quick glances as Aizen approaches the giant sand heap, causing the giant sand snake to flinch aggressively as some sand falls from its body.

''We are here for a quick inspection ,we did not mean to disturb your lands,'' Aizen addresses the figure as she looks at the enormous reptile made of snake, not triggered.

''Besides, it seems like you know some information about this.....dragon we are looking for," her tone on the deep, suspicious.

''Do you really think the dragon went through this area guys? I don't know guys but this area feels too open for giant creature such as it to roam here?" One of Mamamura's group members speaks out as her hands tighten her bow.

''Are you defying Magneta's instructions elf girl? Do you really think he is stupid enough to send us on this expedition out of uncertainty?" One of the attackers Jay hisses coldly at the archer in red.

"N-no i didn't mean it like that....its just....something really feels off about this place, too quiet," she said shakingly as she looked around the area.

Mamamura sighs lightly as she places a hand on the elf's shoulder, voice calm, assuring. "Hey its ok...i get how you feel about this place. Lets just be quick with our task and get out of here ok,? She says as she gives the worried archer a warm smile.

Her grip on the bow lessened as she smiled back at her in agreement. Mamamura always had a soft spot for Zero since she joined the guilt. Zero is one of the best archers in the guilt and Mamamura knows it very well that she always ask her to accompany during her quests.

As they venture deeper into the lands, a heavenly hum can be heard father away from them, leaving them confused.

''Looks like we are not the only ones here it seems, right Toga," Jay chuckles as she looks over her party member Toga, but to his surprise Toga hums to the mysterious melody while following its source.

''M-My Queen....i hear you clearly....suffer no more," he says coldly, emotionless.

As all this occurs, Zero notices balls of light floating high above them. "Umm i believe that might be the source of what's happening, "She addresses the group as the points at balls of light.

All of them take notice of it as Jay goes after Toga. The melody quickens as Toga's movement does the same. Meanwhile Mamamura studies the scene clearly. "If these things are responsible for what's happening, then its not a bother to deal with them, but....that still doesn't explain the sound we are hearing farther away," she talks to herself as she glances over at Jay and Toga.

"Zero you know what to do," Mamamura sternly addresses her as the elf flickers her bow and arrow at the balls of light in agreement.

She fires a devastating shot at the targets, which pierces one of them into an explosion, erasing some around the target. One of the them dodges the attack and launches itself at Zero at full speed.

"Don't worry i got this," she says as she stomps on the ground lightly, creating a purple energy field. As the target enters the field it immediately comes to a stop, then she approaches it eagerly and grabs it, some sand particles falling off it

Upon examining it, she finds a glowing blue iris on it." I believe its an eye made of sand. I am certain that these things were tracking us, which means that someone or something is aware that we are here," Zero sternly addresses others as she disables the energy field, the sand eye creature struggling to escape from her grasp.

"I see but that that still doesn't explain the source of this humming we are hearing, and i looks like there is more to it," the group healer explains as he glances over at Jay trying to get Toga to snap out of the mysterious humming.

"Come on Toga, snap out of it," Jay aggressively urged Toga as he grabs on his hand, but to his surprise he releases a spark of lighting from his hand, causing Jay to back off instantly.

"Oh so that's how its going to be huh," He grins angrily as a mark on his right hand glows, catching everyone's attention.

"Jay don't do anything you are going to regret," Mamamura urges him as she approaches the scene. As soon as Toga gets back to heading to the source of humming, Jay charges at him as a transparent gauntlet emerges from her right hand, but as soon as Toga takes notice, the impact creates a small explosion of sand particles.

As the explosion clears, Jay's eyes widen as he finds his attack blocked by Mamamura. He backs off almost frantically as she gives him cold glare.

"If your going to attack your group members...you have to go through me first understood," her tone deep, stern, gives him chills as he looking away. The elf and healer look at each other nervously as the humming intensifies.

Togan falls to his knees as he groans, holding his head. He closes his eyes in pain as he feels like his brain is about to split in half. He suddenly lets go of his head and gets up, breathing heavily as his eyes glowed.

My Queen....them all dead she want...no one left she wants," his tone soft, robotic, causing everyone to sternly glare at him.

"It looks like we are gonna be here longer than i thought," Mamamura sighs as she approaches Togan.

"As i said, if anyone wants to attack us, they have to go through me first,"

Meanwhile at the Forest Cross Roads....

"I know its non of my business but what's the task your so eager to complete her miss," the dark elf assassin asks the old woman in the big purple robe as they venture through the forest.

The old woman gives a weak laugh as she taps the ground with her staff. "I think its better to just keep to ourselves and focus on our roles young lady, besides, its not like it has nothing to do with you," she gives her a scoff reply, causing her to barely widen her eyes as a murmur heard from ahead catches their attention.

As the venture farther they find two figures from afar face to face with two in black identical robes, one with a cage in its hand.
