Chapter 99 - Chapter 100: All-out Army Attack

Actually, Adam's considerations weren't complicated.

He didn't want to present to the public that the Mutant ancestor had awakened to rule humanity, and then another group of Mutants defeated him.

Such a result would only make the public believe this was an internal struggle among Mutants, which also affected innocent humans, making Mutants seem truly terrifying.

What he wanted was to weaken the concept of Mutants.

He wanted the public to know that when major villains like Apocalypse and Magneto appeared on Earth, righteous Superheroes who protect humanity would emerge to defeat these villains.

Among these Superheroes, there are those like Peter and Jessica who gained superpowers by accident, those like Adam who were granted abilities by deities, and also Mutants who can naturally awaken their abilities.

Therefore, Mutants shouldn't be terrifying freaks, but rather humans born with superpowers who can even join the League of Heroes, which many people dream of joining, and become Superheroes.

If handled well, the public's perception of Mutants would immediately change after this incident.

Half an hour later, Adam received a text message from Nick Fury.

"According to the retrieved records, all members of the Brotherhood of Mutants went to Cairo, Egypt, this morning."

"Their location has been found! All forces, attack!"

Putting down his phone, Adam led all X-Men members, League of Heroes members, and a dozen reporters onto the X-Jet, flying to Cairo at top speed.

Inside the plane's cabin, a dozen reporters eagerly aimed their microphones and cameras at Adam, who was clad in golden armor, and began to frantically ask various questions.

"Mr. Flash, may I ask if the recently spread news of Apocalypse's world destruction is true?"

"Mr. Flash, is this plane a new purchase by the League of Heroes? Why have we never seen it before?"

"Mr. Flash, besides Spider-Man, Venom, and Flying Valkyrie, who are these people behind you?"

Facing the reporters' questions, Adam calmly replied:

"The news of Apocalypse's world destruction is true, and this Hero Jet is also a transport plane recently developed by the company.

As for the new faces here, they are all new Superheroes we recruited and rigorously trained.

This is Storm, who can control lightning and storms; this is Cyclops, who can emit heat rays like Superman; this is..."

After Adam finished his introductions, the reporters also began to interview the X-Men one by one.

The truth about Apocalypse's world destruction was still unconfirmed, but getting interviews with these Superheroes in advance was definitely worth their special trip this Christmas.

Meanwhile, on a high slope outside Cairo, Egypt.

Magneto, with all the enhanced Brotherhood of Mutants members behind him, said to Apocalypse:

"Humanity's nuclear weapons are quite powerful. If we can't eliminate this hidden danger before taking action, it might be very troublesome later.

I believe that with humanity's selfishness, they wouldn't mind sacrificing a city to attack us."

Apocalypse's face showed a trace of disdain upon hearing this:

"I didn't expect that during these five millennia of my slumber, these slaves would actually become Masters.

Don't worry, they will soon discover that all the weapons they are so proud of will disappear, and they will have no power to resist."

Reaching out and touching the forehead of the unconscious Professor X, his mind began to invade Professor X's brain, controlling Professor X to activate his abilities.

Instantly, all countries on Earth with nuclear bombs experienced a terrifying event that nearly stopped the hearts of their high-ranking officials.

That is, without any command from them, all nuclear bombs were launched.

It is important to know that there are currently over ten thousand nuclear bombs globally. If they were all detonated, it would be a catastrophe for all life on Earth.

Fortunately, these nuclear bombs only ascended but did not fall, ultimately launching into the Universe.

This means that currently, all countries on Earth, at this very moment, have no nuclear bombs left.

"Alright, we can begin the plan!"

Withdrawing his hand, Apocalypse's face showed a smile of assured victory.

Professor X's mental resistance was very strong, so much so that even he couldn't maintain long-term control.

Therefore, the best method was to transfer consciousness, so he could completely claim Professor X's abilities and then freely control all of humanity.

There would never again be an uprising or resistance from human slaves.

As for why he didn't detonate all nuclear bombs to destroy all of humanity just now?

What he wanted was to continue ruling humanity as he did five thousand years ago, turning them into his slaves. If they were all killed, what meaning would he have as a lone commander?

So, he only needed Magneto to use the magnetic field to destroy all of humanity's modern civilization, leaving them without the ability to resist him.

Raising both hands, he began to use his ability to manipulate sand and stone on the city of Cairo in front of him.

Under Apocalypse's power, countless modern buildings in the center of Cairo instantly collapsed, turning into sand and gathering together, gradually forming a colossal Pyramid inscribed with various runes.

This gigantic Pyramid was so large that it occupied more than half the area of the entire Cairo city center.

This scene also made Magneto's eyes narrow behind him.

He knew Apocalypse was powerful, but he didn't expect him to be so strong. Fortunately, he also had some preparations.

Looking up at the sky, which had gradually darkened, he said to Apocalypse:

"Let Mystique lead people to protect you while you complete the ritual inside the Pyramid. I will fully exert my abilities to disrupt the magnetic field and destroy human civilization."

"Good, go do your work. After the plan is complete, you will be the leader of the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse."

Apocalypse nodded, then controlled the unconscious Professor and flew towards the Pyramid.

After Apocalypse left, Magneto instructed Mystique:

"When the fighting starts later, be careful to preserve our strength. Let the X-Men and Apocalypse's forces fight it out slowly."

After giving instructions to Mystique, Magneto also flew off, found a hidden spot, and began to fully exert his abilities.

At least regarding the destruction of human modern civilization, his and Apocalypse's ideas were consistent.

However, he could not allow someone like Apocalypse to rule the entire Earth.

It wasn't because of ambition, but because his long-held ideal was to liberate Mutants, so that Mutants would no longer be persecuted by humans and could live happily in the future.

He even at one point wanted to kill all humans, leaving only Mutants on Earth.

But Apocalypse was different; Apocalypse was a dictator, an emperor.

Humans were slaves in Apocalypse's eyes, and Mutants were also slaves in Apocalypse's eyes, merely slaves with a slightly higher status. Moreover, whenever he saw a new ability he desired, he would seize the body and the ability.

This was not what he wanted to see.

Therefore, he was merely using Apocalypse, and once he was done, he would naturally kill him.
