the beginning
They didn't meet because of friendship.
They met because of music.
The first time they were all in the same room, it was raining outside the old practice studio—one of those places that smelled like dust, cables, and broken dreams. The kind of place people went when they had nothing to lose.
He was already there.
Sebastian the guitarist sat alone in the corner, fingers moving effortlessly over the strings like the instrument was part of his body. He didn't look up when the door opened. He never did. He didn't care who walked in, who stayed, or who left. Music was the only thing he respected—and even that, he treated like a battlefield.
Then Elara stepped inside.
She hesitated at the door, clutching her bag like she didn't belong. Her guitar case was new, barely scratched, unlike everyone else's. A beginner. Anyone could tell. But she bowed her head politely, whispered a soft apology for being late, and took a seat far from him.
Alara didn't notice Sebastian eyes lift for just a second.
Her fingers trembled when she played. The tabs everything's was wrong but there was something honest in the way she tried. Something pure. Something that irritates Sebastian,he doesn't care if alara played the tabs all wrong. Sebastian is irritated because of the way alarm played it with honest and confidents
A loud laugh broke the tension.
Silas the drummer arrived like sunlight crashing into a dark room, rainwater dripping from his hair, smiling at everyone like they were already friends. He talked too much, laughed too easily, and immediately noticed alara struggling. Silas come to alara
"Hey," he said warmly, offering help without being asked. "First time here?"
Alara nodded, smiling back
Sebastian scoffed quietly.
One by one, the others arrived—different personalities, different reasons for being there but the same hunger in their eyes. They didn't know each other. They didn't trust each other. Yet when the instruments finally came together, something unexpected happened.
The sound worked.
Messy. Loud. Imperfect.
But real.
They stopped playing at the same time, breathing hard, staring at one another like they had just discovered something dangerous.
No one said it out loud.
But they all felt it.
This wasn't just a practice or just a "first time meeting"
This was the beginning of a band.
And none of them knew yet how deeply it would change them or how love would complicate everything or how their life will change.
Silas spoke up with confidence "woah is it just me or the sound worked?
The others agree except alara. Alara spoke up with shy voice "ummm yeah but I cant play the tabs right". Then Sebastian finally spoke up with his usual cold voice and sleepy eyes he looked at alara and said "Yes we know cuz you suck why are you even here in the first place? Imma be honest your the one who ruined it if your not here then the music will sound perfect". Silas comes forward and calm Sebastian "Okay calm down man shes a beginner" Silas said in a calm voice while calming Sebastian. Alara looked so scared she felt this pang of embarrassment and all her confidence leave
Silence
Then silas broke the silence with his cheerful voice he said "OKAY well calm down you all we dont even know eachother yet theres already argument okay were 5 here 5 members what if we introduced ourselves for a while? Okay i will start first im silas and as you can see I play the drums" silas talked with confidence and light. A silent for a while then alara broke the silence.
"Im alara im a guitarist and a vocalist"
"Alara huh? What a beautiful name" silas said in his mind already falling for alara
Another member introduced himself
"And im selam as you can see i play the bass"
"Hey im Victor main vocalist see no instruments only a mic"
An awkward look towards Sebastian whos been quietly playing guitar. Then silas said "and you are?". Sebastian look up and saw all members were looking at him he sighed he dont have plans on introducing himself but he dont have choice
Sebastian spoke again this time his more cold and annoyed "im Sebastian i play guitar"
Silas look at the other members and says by his usual tone "nice to meet you guys"
Alara also joined and also selam "yeah nice to meet you" and Victor just nodded
All 5 members talk to eachother except Sebastian
All 5 members dont have any idea how much memories they will have. They didn't know whats coming what difficulties they will face together
