"We are here, the Temple of the Great Mother."
Torn from their thoughts by the High Priest's announcement, the class looked ahead and stared, dumbfounded by the sight.
"Holy shit. It's floating, the Temple is actually floating in the air."
There in the space right in front of them was an actual floating temple, hovering about 4 feet off the ground, the building layered in shades of white and cream was an engineering masterpiece that clearly defied the law of physics.
With stained glass, wooden doors and a calming presence, it could have been mistaken for a regular cathedral on Earth if not for the fact that it wasn't resting on the earth.
"Erm, Mister Priest sir. How exactly are we supposed to get up there. You don't expect us to jump or fly do you? Because I just did my nails and hair over the weekend and there's no way I'm gonna risk them becoming a mess." Valerie, one of the 3 class divas said.
"Oh worry not miss traveller, we'll handle it." The High priest said before putting his palms together and mumbling something.
"Oh hell no, not this shit again." Someone said out of PTSD, seeing the floor beneath each of them light up once again.
!Whoosh!
They vanished and found themselves in a big room with wooden aesthetics.
"Shit they have got to stop doing that dammit! It's making me feel sick." Someone complained while leaning on the wall.
"Oh, you have my apologies dear traveller, how should I make it up to you. How about this?" A soothing voice asked, her voice echoing in the room.
Each echo layering over one another, repeatedly tearing apart and mending the space they were in until the wooden room they were in transformed into a forest with a pond in the middle.
"Welcome travellers, to my humble abode." A divine silver haired beauty said with the same soothing voice as before. "I am the Great Mother Alvune, pleased to make your acquaintance."
"Ah Alvune, how have you been. It's been a while since I last saw you." Eedyot said, going as far as hugging the deity.
"Mr. Sinclair I've been fine thank you for asking. I hope the journey here wasn't too tedious." The deity asked after returning the hug, the tone of familiarity in her voice shocking the class.
"Oooh boss, I think you're in trouble. Your favourite target is besties with a god now. What you gonna do?", one of Brian's goons, Phil asked with pitying tone only to be disappointed by the lack of response.
"Sheesh, I guess it's no use talking to a dead man anyway."
"Oh my bad. You guys are probably a bit hungry and tired from all the walking and teleporting" Alvune asked, "Here, have some fruits. I promise you that they are among the best you could ever taste."
With a wave of the wooden staff in her hands, the tree branches around them started fruiting and then stretched in their directions.
"Well don't mind if I do?" Eedyot said before stuffing his mouth with what seemed to be a mango.
The rest of the class also helped themselves after waiting for a few moments to see if anything would happen to him.
