Chapter 2 - Memories under the tree

After Rose went out in the middle of the night, she walked for a long time to find the source of this pleasant feeling. When dawn broke, she found nothing, but she continued walking nonetheless. Suddenly, the feeling grew stronger with every step she took. Rose stopped, surprised! She found an ancient tree, 300 years old. The tree was large and beautiful. Rose was amazed when she looked at it and approached closer. She wanted to know about this pleasant warmth, and for the first time, Rose wasn't afraid to touch something inanimate. Rose touched the tree and felt so reassured that she cried and felt hopeful. Just a touch from a tree restored Rose's zest for life. Rose hugged the tree, leaned against it, and rested for a long time.Rose felt a wave of nostalgia wash over her, and memories flooded her mind. She began to reminisce.

Two years ago...

Rose was a beautiful, intelligent, cheerful, and sociable girl, loved by everyone. She had lived eighteen years filled with love and happiness. In her senior year of school, Rose was studying hard to become an outstanding literature teacher—it was her dream. She adored reading literature. One day, while in class with her best friend Molly, she spotted Noah. Molly asked Rose, "Are you studying, or are you just staring at Noah?" Rose admired him; Noah was quiet and intelligent. When Molly asked her what was wrong, Rose blushed. "What are you talking about?" she said. "Why aren't you studying? We're in our senior year!" "Oh! I hate studying!" Molly exclaimed. Suddenly, the teacher walked in, having heard Molly's outburst. She smiled and said, "Mollie, why do you hate studying? Study like everyone else! Do you want to stay in your class forever?" Everyone laughed. The teacher asked, "How are you all doing? Graduation exams are just around the corner, there are only three months left." Everyone was scared and nervous, but they answered the teacher optimistically, saying, "We will do our best!" The teacher smiled and said, "I believe in you.

" Those were wonderful moments, full of happiness" .
