Chapter 111 - Chapter 111 Violet Door Unlocked

The chair screeched loudly as it scraped across the floor. 

"You can't do that…" Stefan said, his voice cracking. "Let me bury her, it is the last thing I can do for her, please."

Laurel's eyes softened for a moment, and she quickly turned her back against him. "To prevent any mishap from happening, the body needs to be burned, I'll bring the ashes for you." She said, already walking out of the room.

"No, no, please." Stefan rushed behind her.

Seeing his sudden movement, two soldiers rushed inside restraining him.

"Don't hurt him," Laurel quickly commanded.

The soldier's grip on him loosened.

Laurel glanced over her shoulder. "Please try to understand this is the protocol, don't make it harder than it already is." She said, before walking out the door.

"Uncuff him and bring him to a nicer room." Laurel's voice echoed down the hallway.

"Yes, Commander." The soldiers immediately saluted.
