There was silence between both of them for a while. Asher decided to break the silence.
"I'm sorry for breaking up with you. "
"I've heard that almost a million times. "
"I know but I don't know if you have forgiven me. "
"I've forgiven you now. "
"Can we go back to me being your girlfriend?"
"You do know that we can't become what we were in the past. We can only become friends. "

"At least you guys have decided to get through the small beef that you guys had. " Chloe said getting in the room.

Hunter took a pillow and threw at her. The three of them played for a while throwing each other pillow. They eventually got tired and made stories as it continued raining. Once it stopped raining, Hunter left her house leaving the ladies alone.

Hunter slept at his mom's place that night and went to work early in the morning the following day. It was a busy morning for him since he and the other representatives from other departments were meeting to discuss the team building activities that they were to do the following week. It would be all about discussing where they would be sleeping, how they would divide themselves in various groups. Claire's decision to join the activities brought an uproar among the workers. Each wanted Claire to participate in their departments. It was lunch break. Mr. Miller went to Hunter and told him to go to Claire's office. Hunter went to her office. His mood was better today especially after the discussion on the plans for next week. He knocked twice and got in. He saw food on the coffee table. Claire was sitting on the couch.
"Good afternoon?"
"Your mood seems to be better than yesterday. "
"Yeah. It was made better after discussing the details for next week. "
"Have a seat. " Hunter say next to her.
"Tell me all the things that you guys were discussing as we eat. "
Hunter explained all that they had discussed. Once they were done eating and Hunter had told him everything, Claire turned to face him.
"Why do I feel like you want to kill me?"
"Where were you yesterday?"
"With a colleague. "

"What were you guys doing?"

"A man and a woman in the same room what can they be doing together?"
