Claire was in a meeting with the directors of various departments. Her mind though was not entirely there. Tush Resort was her resort. She was the one who founded it and had kept it a secret. The only people who knew that she was owning the resort was Hannah and the General Manager of Tush Resort. She had called Griffin the GM and told him to keep an eye on the people who were coming to inspect the place. She also had asked him to give him the footage of every place. She was constantly checking her phone. She then saw Chloe had wrapped her arms round Hunter's arm. Hunter didn't seem bothered. The room was suddenly cold, and the directors looked at each other. Each were wondering if she had done an investigation on them and had found a fault.
"Meeting adjourned. We will continue with this meeting tomorrow. "
It was unusual for Claire to postpone a meeting. Hannah followed her to the parking lot.
"Where are we going?"
"To my Resort. "
"Huh? What is happening there?"
"I need to keep someone on a leash. "
"Hunter? I knew you had feelings for him, and you don't want to accept that fact."
"You talk too much. Take me there."
Hannah drove to Tush Resort. They were welcomed warmly and asked to be taken where her employees were. The guys there were talking and suddenly felt there was a chill. They turned to look and saw Claire there. They all bowed slightly and called her Miss Phillips. Hunter was questioning himself try looking for answers as to what Claire was doing there.
"What are you doing here Miss?" Chloe asked her.
"I came to look at what you guys are doing here. After all it's my money that you guys are budgeting with. Continue with whatever you were doing. Just assume that I am not here."
They continued with what they were doing. Chloe out of habit wrapped her hands in Hunter's arm. Hunter tried removing her hands from his. Claire had seen it and felt angry. Hannah saw that something bad would happen. She called Hunter aside.
"We were in the middle of a meeting and then we came here. Do you know why?"
"I don't know. "
"She saw her wrapping her hands in yours. She is pissed off right now. Keep a distance from her. "
"I will try. "
"Try? Can't you understand that Claire is already pissed. "
"If I go, she will still put her hand round mine. If you don't want that to happen, then why don't you stick around me. "
"Ok. "
They had planned for everything thoughtfully for the day and they were to go home.
"I want to take him for now. "Chloe said as she went to where Hunter, Hannah and Claire were.
"He is not leaving with you. " Claire said.
"We'll talk tomorrow then. Bye Hunter. "
"Bye. " Chloe left them.
"Are you also waiting for me to also ask you to leave?"
"I am going. "
Hannah left them. Claire took his hand and led him to her presidential suite that was always prepared for her at any time.
