Meliodas
Leroy and I were walking along the streets of Hell, Leroy had explained Hell kinda like Earth except theres no different countries and we all spoke the same language.
Latin.
Though for each demons ears it came out as the language we had when we were human so we could all understand each other, it was then he told me he was actually from a specific part of Greece and spoke Italian.
"So everything I say sounds Italian to you and evenrything you say sounds english to me?" I asked for clarification.
"Correct." He said.
Interesting.
We turned to continue patrol, though we held no weapons, Leroy had said when I became an official soldier then I could carry a weapon but for now we use our fists.
Respectable.
I guess.
As we walked along, I spotted Lilith walking among the demons, greeting and smiling at everyone as she walked past but I could tell there was something on her mind.
"Watch out!" Someone yelled as he lost control of his horse which was headed straight for Lilith, who was so lost in thought, she hadn't heard the man yell his warning.
My body reacted without thinking, I moved before i could even blink.
One second i was there, next to Lerog and the next im here grabbing onto Lilith, holding her tightly to my chest, her back against the building that was beside her a moment ago. My back was facing the street where the horse had barrled towards her, the people around made way for the wild horse.
I held onto Lilith as I used my other senses, the sounds of the hooves were right behind us, I braced myself and Lilith as I tucked my head into her and felt hooves in the center of my back.
I tightened my hold on Lilith, the adrenaline doing wonders to my body, I hadn't felt the pain from the horses deadly kick, I lifted my head, glancing at Lilith.
She made eye contact with me, we stood there like that for a good minute before I collapsed, she fell with me as I still had a hold of her, the horse had seemed to calm down suddenly.
Asshole.At least Lilith is ok, that's all that mattered to me. I thought to myself.
Lilith
I had decided to go to the market today, to just get out of the palace and check on the people. There some small issues I helped resolve but when I walked by myself it mostly gave me time to think, I was lost in thought when I flet the familiar feeling of safety pull itself around my body.
I buried my face in his neck as he pinned me against a store of the market that I was walking past, I inhaled his scent, it calmed my nerves; then we made eye contact.
His blue eyes held nothing but concern and worry, I felt a slight blush forming as I slightly felt myself lean in, suddenly feeling the urge to kiss him.
Then the next minute we collapsed to the ground, I fell on top of him, his arms had never let me go until we were on the ground and his hands found their way to rest on my hips, my blush came back as we made eye contact again.
He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear and his hand stroked my cheek before he passed out.
My blush intensified and I used my levitation power to lift him then my teleport porw to teleport us both to the infirmary.
"Doctor! Quick! He was kicked by a horse!" I yelled and a full team rushed in, and i slowly laid him on the gurney as instructed by the doctor before they rushed him off to a different room.
"Stay here and a nurse will be back to find you your majesty!" He yelled out as they took him.
A LITTLE WHILE LATER
"Your Majesty, please come." One of the nurses from earlier came into the waiting room and now here we were walking down the hospital hallway before stopping at a glass window.
I had expected tubes and wires stemming from his body and the nurse to tell me the kick from that horse had broke his back and he'd be in a coma for a while.
My hesrt fluttered, my body flooded with a sense of relief as I eyed him through the window. He was sitting up in bed, bare chested as the doctor finished wrapping his torso, my body heated and I felt my cheeks heat up. Looking him up and down..
Damn, he is definitely some eye candy.
"He is really hot your majesty. I won't tell a soul, honestly that piece of shit you're with now kinda deserves it." The nurse behind me whispered.
"Be careful talking about him like that. He has ears everywhere." I whispered back.
"Of course, thank you for reminding me." She said as she slightly bowed her head.
"He did in fact break his back, but I'm guessing part of his demon power is healing or regeneration." She stated.
More like God Powers. I thought to myself.
"So he's completely healed?" I asked.
"He's still got some pretty good sized fractures in his ribs and his back is pretty much 90% healed. He should be 100% by tomorrow morning. He needs to stay bandaged like this when he's walking around but when he sleeps and showers he is to take it off." She explained.
I nodded.
"Right, thank you nurse. I'll take everything from here." I said simply.
"Of course your magisty" she said as she bowed her head and walked away, the doctor had also exited the room and I stood, admiring his still bare chest through the window.
"It lasts longer if you take a picture you know?" He sarcastically remarked as he smirked at me through the window, his eyes meeting mine and staring.
I immediately looked away, blushing like crazy.
"Right." I whispered to myself as I smiled, truly smiled.
What is this man doing to me.
Third Person
Lilith walked through the doorway into his hospital room, Meliodas sat on the edge of the bed with his legs over the edge, feet firmly planted firmly on the ground. His muscles tensed as he braced himself with his arms, slightly gripping the edge of the gurney.
"I wanted to, um, thank you for uuuh helping me." Lilith barely managed to mutter out her greatfulness to Meliodas, only causing her to blush more, and she looked anywhere but at him, she knew what would happen if she did look at Meliodas.
He sat there, bare chested, wrapped tightly in a bandage that only covered where his abs would be, she was not sure if she was greatful or annoyed for not being able to see his abs.
Meliodas' smirk widened, he slowly got up and took steps toward Lilith, she backed away from him until he pinned her against the wall, her hands braced behind her. Meliodas placed his left forearm on the wall beside her head, bringing their faces closer, his right hand found her face and lifted her head to where Likith had to look at him.
His lips mere inches from hers, her blush deepened and her lips slightly parted, waiting to be claimed by his.
Suddenly he was gone, his body covered by the blankets of the gurney.
"There she is." Came a voice that instantly had her blush gone and her body slightly shaking.
"Lucifer."
