The forest at the border of the Kingdom was lush, with towering trees and luxuriant foliage standing beneath the blue sky and white clouds.

A white afterimage streaked past the treetops, and the resulting airflow sent leaves rustling down.

The Platinum Dragon Lord, controlling the platinum armor, was heading toward E-Rantel.

He had only one purpose for this trip: to meet the person named Helant.

The hundred-year aftershocks had arrived. The filth of the Dragon Emperor had descended once again.

Woosh!

The Platinum Dragon Lord accelerated again, making the platinum armor rush toward E-Rantel at a speed bordering on teleportation.

He needed to determine whether Helant was a player, and if so, who the Holy Domain God Lord behind him was.

When he saw the image of the Holy Domain God Lord's descent yesterday, the Platinum Dragon Lord was exceptionally shaken. Even through the crystal, he could feel an absolute power emanating from him.

That kind of power was even higher than that of the Eight Greed Kings.

"Human supremacy? Another extreme player."

The dragon race, having experienced the catastrophe of the Eight Greed Kings, had suffered a great loss in strength.

The Platinum Dragon Lord thought that after making contact with Helant and the Holy Domain God Lord behind him, he would assemble the other True Dragon Lords and use a World Item to crush the hidden threat in its cradle with a thunderous strike.

Thinking of this, the platinum armor's speed increased further. He had to uncover Helant's background as quickly as possible.

"At this speed, it will take at most half a… Wait, what is that!"

Before the Platinum Dragon Lord could finish his sentence, he saw a giant dragon nearly a hundred meters long suddenly spread its wings on a distant hilltop. Its wings, fifty meters wide and two hundred meters long, beat violently with a booming sound as it flew toward him.

This giant dragon was covered in greenish-black scales, looking sturdy without being bloated. On its ferocious dragon head, a pair of horns like devil horns were particularly eye-catching.

The giant dragon bared its fangs, gave a sinister smile, and spoke in a voice like rolling thunder, "In by my name, Herox, I command you to stop right there!"

The oppressive aura surging from its red pupils caused the Platinum Dragon Lord to freeze in place, utterly stunned.

"A True Dragon Lord?! How is that possible!"

Dragons were a powerful race that grew stronger with age. Aside from True Dragon Lords, a dragon's strength was often linked to its size.

A length of over a hundred meters was almost one of the criteria for judging whether a dragon was a True Dragon Lord.

However, if it were a True Dragon Lord, it would be impossible for the Platinum Dragon Lord not to know it. Where did this dragon calling itself Herox come from?

He controlled the armor to cross its arms, waiting with doubt for Herox to arrive before him.

The mountain-like Herox looked at the tiny speck before him, a hint of scrutiny flashing in his mind, before he feigned a megalomaniacal laugh. "I smell the scent of my own kind. How did you become so small?"

He saw through my disguise?

The Platinum Dragon Lord had once used this platinum armor to make a name for himself in this world as one of the Thirteen Heroes.

Even the leader back then, who was a player, could not see through his disguise. How did this fellow dragon see through it?

Thinking of this, the Platinum Dragon Lord spoke with a friendly smile. "Kinsman, who are you?"

He was now very curious about who this dragon, whom he had never seen before, actually was.

"Didn't I say it? My name is Herox!" Herox shook his massive head, seemingly extremely impatient.

"Uh, to grow to your size must have taken at least several centuries… What I mean is, who are your parents, and where did you live before?" the Platinum Dragon Lord explained patiently.

"Where did I live… who are my parents…" After hearing the Platinum Dragon Lord's words, Herox suddenly clutched his head with his claws, looking as if he had a splitting headache. "I don't know! Ahh… my head hurts!"

"Kinsman, are you alright?" The Platinum Dragon Lord reached out, condensing a spell, wanting to see what was wrong with him.

Roar!

But just as he was about to probe the dragon's body with magic, Herox suddenly roared and swung his thick dragon tail, sending the Platinum Dragon Lord flying.

The terrifying force acted directly on the platinum armor, deforming its body and sending it crashing into a hilltop like a shooting star with a hunched back.

Boom!

A deep crater was smashed into the hundred-meter-high peak. The mountain collapsed with a rumble, and dust rose everywhere, burying the Platinum Dragon Lord's body inside.

The Platinum Dragon Lord deactivated the protective magic on the platinum armor while slowly flying out of the dust.

"To block that strike, the mana stored in the platinum armor probably won't last long enough for me to test Helant."

He looked at Herox, who was now curled up on the ground, clutching his head and writhing in agony, and murmured, "In that case, let's first see what's going on with this Dragon kid."

A suspicion flashed through the Platinum Dragon Lord's mind. Among the True Dragon Lords, there was a Seven-Colored Dragon King who was perverted enough to have bred offspring with females of almost every race.

Moreover, he also liked to conduct magical research on some of his descendants.

If this Herox was a descendant of Brightness, it would make sense why he had no impression of him.

After all, that fellow Brightness only cared about breeding, not raising.

He naturally assumed the role of an uncle, approached Herox, and said softly, "Child, I know your origin."

As soon as these words were spoken, Herox's expression stiffened slightly, then he quickly reacted by feigning confusion, lowering his dragon head to stare at the Platinum Dragon Lord.

"You… know me?"

You really know?!

Has Nazarick been exposed?!

No, if he really knew his origin, he wouldn't have such a friendly attitude.

Let's see what he says…

The Platinum Dragon Lord nodded. In the way he looked at Herox, there was no anger or hatred from having just been struck by a tail, only a kind of appreciation from an elder toward a kid. "Child, if I'm not mistaken, you should be the offspring of the Seven-Colored Dragon King. Speaking of which, you should call me uncle."

How long had it been since the dragon race had been infused with fresh blood? Judging from that tail strike earlier, his raw strength was definitely comparable to a True Dragon Lord.

That fellow Brightness had finally done something good!

My only father is Lord Helant!

The Platinum Dragon Lord's words made Herox's blood boil with rage. He put on a ferocious expression, violent energy surging in his eyes, as he feigned a state of losing control. "I don't have that father!"

Black flames ignited on his sharp claws as he violently smashed them against the Platinum Dragon Lord's armor, pinning him into the ground like a nail.

Boom!

The violent power surged into the ground, cracking the surface and sending dust flying, causing the earth to tremble for a moment.

When the dust cleared, the Platinum Dragon Lord had already controlled the armor to move into mid-air.

He crossed his arms, with four weapons of different shapes floating around him. His tone still carried that elder-like quality that Herox detested. "After two attacks, I have confirmed that you do not know Wild Magic yet."

With strength comparable to a True Dragon Lord, if he learned Wild Magic and became a True Dragon Lord, how strong would he be?

The Platinum Dragon Lord spoke with appreciation toward the kid. "Only by learning Wild Magic can you be worthy of being called a True Dragon Lord. By then, that father you hate might no longer be your match."
