The clock tower strikes at 9 o'clock. Many people already going back to their home and just a few of them still open their stalls until midninght. Luz walk toward his destination that have been given to him. He is wearing casual attire but still making him look like a noble which making some of the town people stare at him. He then arrive at two houses that a little bit far from the town. The backyard is full of crops with different kind of vegetables and fruits. His eyes gaze toward a little garden that full of Epiphyllum Oxypetalum flowers that haven't bloom yet but the flower smell already cover that area. He looks onto the sky and saw a full moon which makes him think that the flower will bloom beautifully tonight.
"Lieutenant Luz what's bring you here?" Winter asked.
"Sergeant Winter?" Luz surprised.
"Just Winter. This is my father-in-law house. How about you come in first? Raven told me he expecting someone to come tonight." Winter said. Luz puzzled and walk into the house.
Winter bring him towards the dinning table where he saw Noir's parent, Noir's four childhood friends with their parents and a woman sitting besides Noir's parent.
" Who he is, Winter?" Lapis asked.
"This is Lieutenant Luz. He come to our town for inspection. Lieutenant Luz this is Lapis my father-in-law and former Sergeant in this town. This is his wife, Jade and this is my wife, Mint." Winter introduced them to him.
Raven and Frost walk out from the kitchen with foods of tray. Luz surprise to see his brother with Raven.
"Frost, what you doing here?" Luz asked.
"Brother Luz? I'm visiting Raven's family." Frost stated.
"That's mean that... this house..." before Luz finish his sentences, Noir come out from kitchen holding another tray of foods.
"Luz? What you doing here?" Noir acting surprised which is already know by her four friends, Raven, Frost, Mint and Winter.
"Noir, you know him?" Lapis asked.
"Mom, dad, this is my superior, Lieutenant Luz. I work under him." Noir said.
"So, he is the one Cloud told me about two days ago. Welcome to Epiphyllum Town. Thank you for taking care of my daughter. I hope she didn't give you much trouble." Lapis said earning a rolled eyes from Noir.
For the first time Luz smiles making Frost feels relief because he know his brother still sad about Noir's marriage proposal. Raven also smile to see Luz still want to jokes around with them. He then looks at her sister and both of them nod as agree for a thing.
"Luz, come have dinner with us and we all can talk at the patio afterwards." Noir said.
"But Noir... Luz is outsider. Don't involve him in our family matters." Lapis replied. Noir stop serving and become silent. All of the guest also stop talking when she stay silent.
"We will discuss it at the patio." Noir said in her low dangerous tone making Lapis sweat drop as he know Noir still mad him. He sighed and agreed. Luz just look at the situation without interrupting this is the first time he saw Noir angry like that. They all continue eating the dinner and avoid any topic regarding Noir's marriage proposal.
Luz just stay silent and answer any questions that they asked them. Noir just eat her dinner silently. Luz whispered to Raven about the matter and Raven just answered him that Noir having a big fight with their parent the other night. Luz nod understand their situation and decide to keep quiet when they all discuss at the patio afterwards.
A message lit on Luz's phone skrin.
-Stay at Lapis place for a while, Lieutenant. I will send him to you afterwards. Don't worry, he still alive. -
Luz texted back to the unknown person but there are no reply back. Luz just sighed. He really worry about his attendant life.
At the patio of Lapis's house...
All of the guests sit on the sofa at the patio. They all look toward the front yard and saw the little garden of Epiphyllum Oxypetalum flowers that beginning to bloom a little.
"Noir, we need to discuss this. They will be our witness including your superior. Is it alright with you, Noir? Luz?" Lapis said. Noir and Luz nod in unison.
"As you know Celeste had propose for your hand in marriage to me but I told him that I will discuss with you first. Eventually, they agree to come propose to you five day afterwards and they give a condition if we didn't comply to it." Lapis began to spoke.
"What condition?" Luz wondered.
"Celeste's father, Baron Flaxen Aventurine will remove my wife residency at this town." Lapis answered.
"Why? They cannot do that. It's against the law." Luz surprised.
"No, they can. This is because my wife is an immigrant. She is Dark clan from Dark Kingdom." Lapis replied back.
"Don't worry, dear. I already plan where I will go next. That's include bringing Noir come with me. Both of us will go on adventure together then. Maybe go to another kingdoms together." Jade said earning a sweat drop from others.
"Cedar, you look at her. She spill nonsense again. Is she didn't love me anymore? She want to leave me..." Lapis cried out making Cedar sighed.
"Jade, don't discourage him like that. We can find another solution." Cedar said and the other agreed.
"Luz, can you give any suggestions to solve this problem? Maybe you have different view about this matter." Cedar asked.
Luz standing up and walk a few step infront of the patio. He look up at the full bright moon and thinking.
"Only one but that's impossible to do it." Luz said.
"What is it?" Winter asked.
"Marry someone with royalty status or have royal blood. That way no one can touch your family." Luz said with a heavy sigh.
"That's impossible!" Lapis said.
Noir stand up and walk towards the little garden of Epiphyllum Oxypetalum flowers. She stroke one of the flower and smile. She need to execute her crazy plan. She cut down the quarterly bloom flower without they notice.
"I have made my decision."Noir said without turning her back toward them. They all stay silent waiting for Noir to speak again.
"I will getting marry." Noir added. Luz look sad but he decided to accept Noir decision.
"But Noir... We didn't agree with it." Jade disagreed with Noir decision.
Noir turned around and holding the epiphyllum oxypetalum flower in her hand. She walk toward Luz making others puzzled except for Raven, Frost, Winter, Mint, Gris, Oliva, Vino and Ciano.
" Luz Rubeus, will you marry me?" Noir proposed and hand him the epiphyllum oxypetalum flower to him.
"WHAT?!" That's the only word come out from Luz mouth as he still shock about Noir proposal.
The others also shock with Noir action. Lapis that stand up suddenly feels like to faint and his body being hold by Winter. Jade looks toward the flower Noir gave to Luz making her suddenly laughed out loud. Lapis glared toward his wife as she treats this situation as a joke. Cedar that also notice the flower also laughed earning a puzzled from all of them and a glare from Lapis.
"She really is your daughter. Like mother, like daughter." Cedar laughed.
"Luz, answer me. Do you want to marry me?" Noir looks into his eyes and waiting for his replied.
Luz looks at Noir gently. She seems not hesitate about her decision as she already calculate this plan from the start. If he refused, he will lost Noir forever. Hearing that she will getting married already make his heart hurt a lot already. He cannot imagine if he lost her forever.
"Are you sure, Noir?" Luz want to clarify.
"Yes, I want to marry you from the bottom of my heart. I want to be with you until death do us apart." Noir stated. Luz finally smiled widely.
"Then... I do. I do want to be with you forever until death do us apart." Luz agreed with Noir. Noir smiles happily.
"Dad, will you marry us tonight, here?" Noir asked her father.
"What? But he cannot help you from this problem." Lapis said.
"Yes, he can." A figure come out from dark mist in front of the patio making all of them surprised except for Noir.
"Nero! Didn't you been kidnap?" Luz said looking at his attendant to find any injuries on him.
"Lady Noir kidnap me this evening with the help from master Frost and master Raven. And she the one planning all of this. I agree because I want mylord to be happy." Nero explained to him. Luz glare at Nero and Frost making both of them sweat drop.
"Don't worry, I protect both of you from him." Noir reassured making both Frost and Nero relief. Luz just sighed.
"How he will help us?" Jade interrupted.
"Lord Luz and master Frost has royal bloodline. They after all the nephew of King Zois and son of Duchess Rose Rubeus." Nero answered.
"I'm suggesting that and I'm the one also forget about it." Luz feel embarrassed after he realised. Noir laughed.
"Dear, just let her marry him. This is the only way." Jade said.
"Fine. Cedar, get your thing here. We marry them here tonight." Lapis finally cave-in.
"Here your thing, dad." Gris gave his father thing to him earning a glare from his father.
"And here the ring." Nero pulled out a jewellery box contain a pair of silver ring with emerald stone.
"You all come in prepare." Cedar looks toward Noir friends. They told them that it is all Noir plan and they just go along with her plan.
"She really is your daughter." Lapis sighed earning a chuckle from Jade.
"And I am proud of her." Jade said proudly.
Lapiz marrying Noir with Luz in front of Cedar, the solemnizer and the other become witness for their marriage. After the ceremony end, Jade walk toward the two married couple.
"You know what, I'm also the one propose to your father back then. Luz, take care of my she-devil, protect her and cherish her always." Jade said.
"This flower, the queen of night symbolize royalty, loyalty and devotion while this emerald ring represent eternal love. Thank you for loving her, Luz." Jade added.
"I will protect her and love her always, ma'am." Luz replied.
"Called us mom and dad. We're family now." Jade said.
"I entrust her to you. Make her happy always." Lapis added.
"I will." Luz answered with a smile on his face. Finally, Noir become his mate.
