Felix kept rambling to himself, "Really bizarre. The Sky Talons were quite busy a few years back, but this past year, they've just disappeared completely, showing up like phantoms..."
I shot him a look. "The Sky Talons probably have Aethelgard military connections. Dominic belongs to the Sky Talons. If you think you can handle it, go ahead and take him on."
"What?" Felix's eyes widened in sudden realization. "I assumed you actually had feelings for him! Turns out you're playing the long game, going undercover. I completely misread you."
Felix seemed to grasp the situation but still harbored doubts. "But... Blue sophiae, this doesn't match your usual approach."
"Shut your mouth and quit talking!" I snapped.
Felix dropped the subject. "Once I've got my plan sorted out, I'll break one of his legs first!"
"Fine by me. No complaints here," I replied.
