Julian's POV
A line of carriages waited at the estate entrance, with an opulent, spacious coach taking the lead.
The driver placed the stepping stool and pulled back the curtain. Wrapped in a luxurious fox-fur cloak, I stepped out gracefully.
After being gone from the Sinclair estate for over a month, I was desperate to get home.
The instant I finished my business, I hurried back without delay, anxious to see Bella once more.
Wearing a tender smile, I called out quietly, "My Bellie, I'm back."
I couldn't stop smiling at the prospect of seeing Bella again.
The butler hurried forward, both shocked and delighted. "Mr. Sinclair, you're back?"
Servants scurried around, busily hauling my luggage into the house.
Without slowing my pace, I asked worriedly as I walked, "How has Mother been lately?"
The butler's face lit up. "Mrs. Sinclair is in perfect health, thanks to the medicine Miss Fairfax made for her. She hasn't coughed once this whole time!"
