The moment the words left my mouth The mansion answered. Not gently, the front doors burst open with a violent bang that echoed through the hall like cannon fire. Wind howled in, carrying dust and the dramatic timing of men who absolutely did not plan to arrive together.
"ISABELLA!"I heard similar voice.
That voice, Terrence. Of course it was Terrence. Behind him Zavier, Xavier, and Aiden, all looking like they had run straight through a horror movie set and decided to keep going out of spite. Zavier adjusted his gloves, eyes already scanning for threats. Xavier looked mildly annoyed, like he had been dragged out of a quiet evening and was filing a complaint internally. Aiden looked ready to punch the concept of destiny itself.
"ADDITIONAL ROMANTIC VARIABLES ENTERING EVENT ZONE." The system announced brightly. "TENSION LEVELS SPIKING."
