"See, Vex?" I gestured to the wailing goddess. "If I start doing those tropes, her ego will inflate so big she'll actually float away and clog the atmosphere. I'm doing the world a favor by keeping it 'What's Up, Doc' and not 'Whistle-Whistle-Hubba-Hubba'."
I pulled a giant mallet out of my pocket and tapped the comment away.
"But hey, for the fans? I'll tell you what. Next time we run into a Pro Hero who's acting a bit too serious, maybe I'll break out the 'Random French Chef' bit just for you. How's that for 'True Toon' energy?"
