Chapter 67 - Chapter 67 Foreigners Make Fools of Themselves; Divine Tool: Moonworm Queen

A sudden situation disrupted the chunks and affected many people in the Twilight Forest.

Ronan Mountwell had just returned home and wanted to go into his room to find some wool.

In an instant, regional monsters appeared, surrounding him from all sides.

Left with no choice, he had to use that move again: dig three and fill one!

He was gloriously sealed in the dirt at his own doorstep once more.

Once again, he received "warm regards" from the Samurai Nation audience.

In fact, Ronan Mountwell's situation was not unique; most players encountered similar scenarios.

However, they were well-equipped and experienced, so they weren't quite as pathetic.

For example, Mark.

Having learned his lesson from the death of the Spartan Warriors, he no longer dared to open any treasure chests.

He focused on killing monsters steadily and found the location of the second-level Minoshroom.

It was indeed an easy fight. With three people cooperating and taking turns over several hours, they finally managed to wear the Minoshroom down to death.

"The damage is quite high, but the sign was right—the Minoshroom's mechanics aren't very strong."

By being careful to dodge attacks and managing aggro, the three of them each took only one hit on average.

Their health recovered using the saturation from food, so the difficulty wasn't considered high.

Upon obtaining the Diamond Minotaur Axe, Mark's eyes lit up.

"Diamond-tier equipment, I finally found it!"

He had long heard that diamond was stronger than gold. He hadn't found it in the resource zone, but now he had acquired it in the Twilight Forest.

And it was a boss-level weapon, the Minotaur Axe!

Since he already preferred using axes, Mark was extremely satisfied.

"Real men should use axes! Is there another Blood Moon outside?"

Hearing the notification for the random zone event, he frowned slightly.

The chunk itself would spawn monsters, and now more areas were being added, judging by the frequency of zombie spawns.

He could already imagine the scene of zombies everywhere across the chunks.

"Forget about that. Since we're in the Twilight Forest, let's fight our way through!"

Taking out the Twilight map, he could see a Dark Forest nearby with the Phantom Knight icon.

With his newly acquired weapon, Mark was eager to try it out.

"I want to see just how strong these buffed zombies are!"

Brandishing his axe, he charged into the crowd of zombies, swinging as he went.

[-10]

[-15!]

[-17]

The damage was seven points higher than a normal diamond sword, with each swing dealing a full ten points.

If in a sprinting state, it would even exceed the maximum critical hit of fifteen, dealing seventeen points of damage.

Whether compared to swords or bows, its attributes far surpassed them.

Seeing their player so brave, the audience was naturally excited.

"Unafraid of danger, charging straight into the zombie horde—Mark, you are a true hero!"

"Not naming names, but a certain cowardly Stick Nation player doesn't deserve to be in the same world as Mark!"

"Weaklings don't deserve a mention. In terms of courage, I think Mark is even stronger than Galen Yu!"

"Yeah, does Galen Yu dare to charge into a horde of zombies?"

"So handsome, I'm practically fainting over Mark!"

If Galen Yu could see the bullet chat, he wouldn't deny it.

Wearing a Naga Scalemail and wielding a Minotaur Axe while charging into a pack of Crisis Zombies... Mark was indeed a brave man...

Within just two seconds, Mark realized something was wrong.

"Didn't these zombies only do four or five points of damage? Why has it become seven?"

"Jett, save me!"

Losing seven points at a time, three hits almost sent Mark to meet his ancestors.

Fortunately, he noticed in time. He hadn't completely entered the zombie encirclement yet, so he managed to retreat back to a safe area.

Protected by the Spartan Warriors, they built a small high platform out of blocks, allowing them to finally breathe a sigh of relief.

"My god, these zombies are going crazy!"

If he hadn't eaten Meef Stroganoff, which increased his maximum health by two hearts,

He would have almost died at the hands of the zombies.

Even so, the weakness state when health falls below three hearts was something Mark never wanted to experience again!

"Even facing the Lich or Naga didn't have this kind of pressure. To some extent, they are stronger than bosses!"

Bosses are easy to deal with once you learn their mechanics, but zombies are endless, seemingly impossible to kill.

That was the most terrifying part.

However, their task wasn't to kill the zombies but to survive the zombie onslaught!

Having recovered his health, Mark stood up again.

"Let's go, let's kill the Phantom Knight!"

The Dark Forest was vast and filled with various monsters.

Moreover, with the Blood Moon in effect, zombies were more numerous and stronger; they wisely chose to travel along the treetops.

Upon arriving at the location, Mark dug a hole directly through the leaves.

He threw his weapons and equipment inside.

"Watch closely. Anything Galen Yu can do, I can do too. I'm leaving everything here."

"I will defeat the Phantom Knight bare-handed!"

He specifically showed off that he was unarmored, without a sword, and empty-handed.

He flexed his muscles and struck several poses.

The three of them jumped down from the dark tree and arrived in front of the labyrinth entrance.

Then, they were stunned.

"How do you open the door here? Jett, do you know?"

This information wasn't written in the Lich Tower.

Shaking his head, Jett answered honestly.

"I don't know. My warrior, what about you?"

Born for battle, it was even less likely for the Spartan Warrior to know.

"So."

Mark swallowed hard, his voice trembling slightly.

"You mean, right now we have no armor and no weapons, and we have to face an unknown number of zombie waves under the Blood Moon empty-handed, right?"

Is this right!

"Hey, what's that on the ground? A red nose!"

"Your nose fell off. I'll help you pick it up. Make sure to wear it properly next time!"

"Hahaha, this is hilarious! Is this the strength of the Freedom Nation?"

"They didn't even do their research. They dropped their weapons thinking they could one-shot the Phantom Knight empty-handed?"

"They wanted to imitate our Great God Galen Yu, but they can't even get through the door!"

"I can't blame Mark though; I wouldn't have thought of it either. Opening the door requires a puzzle!"

"I can't take it anymore. Foreigners really know how to make fools of themselves. I'm going to die laughing!"

"Hahahahaha!"

The audience from the Nine Provinces Nation was laughing their heads off.

Following the usual logic, the previous Naga, Lich, Minoshroom, and Hydra were all marked on the map and could be seen directly.

At most, the Minoshroom required a bit of brainpower to leave blocks on the ground or have a good memory, and it could be passed quickly.

Only the Phantom Knight required placing a trophy; it was normal not to think of it.

But to prove himself, he directly threw away his weapons and equipment to face the Blood Moon zombies.

It was hard to keep a straight face!

Shifting the perspective back to Galen Yu, he also noticed the Blood Moon and the new event.

Galen Yu had just come out of a mountain range.

On his way to the Snowy Forest, he had found this place.

A large Hollow Hill!

A place with twelve treasure chests and many monsters like Red-Capped Gnomes, Red-Capped Sappers, Kobolds, Wraiths, and more.

It was a bit dangerous, but for Galen Yu, it was nothing.

The rewards were also very generous.

"Twelve diamonds, three emeralds, redstone, lapis lazuli... and the most important one."

He took out a giant tool that flickered like a firefly, shaped like a light bulb, and had no attack power.

[Moonworm Queen]

Equipped with Unbreaking III, its function is to release Moonworms to illuminate areas.

An infinite light source; one of these is worth several stacks of torches. It was a proper functional divine tool!

There were more than just these items.

Through his trials, Galen Yu had other gains as well.
