Alex watched the boy who was walking in like he owned the place. Face with serious expression. Posture rigid and cloths regale. Full white with golden ornaments. He had long golden hair tied into a pony tail. Green eyes that glowed in intense determination.
The vanue gasped and whispered in awe. The girls blushing. Some boys felt indifferent while most inferior without them knowing.
The boy started to looked around before his eyes locked onto Saika beside Alex. He started to walk towards them with eager steps.
Alex watched and recalled who the fuck was this guy. And as always, he couldn't. He just remembered the face and vibes of this guy. Nothing more.
He was one of those early arrogant fools that has a crush of a heroine, only to have their crush stollen by the protagonist. And they later become the protagonists lecky and watch their crush crush over other guy only to be labelled as character development...
The boy stopped infront of Saika and his serious expression morphed into a excited smile.
"Hello! Miss Saika! How have you been?"
The boy asked. And Saika, being how she is just scratched her cheek in confusion. Clearly not recognising the guy. The dude instantly understood and opened his mouth again.
"It seems you didn't remember me miss! Let me remind you then! We met-"
'Is this motherfucker trying to steal my sugger mommy?'
Alex leaned towards Aika when Saika got up to talk.
"Hey! Who is this guy? Is he an elf? Why does he has pointed ears?"
"Him? He is Gordon Gobrolin Falna. And he is a goblin."
'...'
"What the fuck? How he is a goblin!?"
Alex whispered. Almost screamed when he heard that gobugobu or whatever was a goblin! Weren't goblins were supposed to be fat, green little footballs? Why were they so handsome!?
Alex felt his world view crack a little.
"Oh no! He is from the Greed lineage. And they look pretty human."
Aika explained back. Not turning to Alex. Her full attention on Saika and goroboroses conversation. The guy was trying to make Saika remember something but gave up half way through and now is talking about life.
And it was not going well because Saika was getting bored faster than a balloon runs out of air. Goghoglo trying his best to keep Saika entertained and trying to mix his life in but was falling spectacularly.
Alex didn't pay much attention to the guy. Much for pressing matter was at hand.
"Damn... if that's the case. I won't be able to insult people by calling them goblins Darn it!"
Aika finally looked at Alex like she was seeing him in a new light.
'The first thing that came to his mind was insulting people... is he secretly a sadist?'
Aika couldn't help but he concerned.
"He is special. His mother is an elf."
"WHAT!?"
Alex's scream turned heads. Saika turned to him concerned and confused. While gaygay looked annoyed and frustrated instead.
Alex was gripping his chest, as if in pain. His face full of disbelief.
"OH! My poor heart! What did I just hear!? A beautiful elf getting pressed under a fat pig- I mean goblin!? GOD! What kind of cosmic cruelty is this!? Just imagining it pains my heart!! Ah! A generational regret!!"
Alex said with a voice full of passion. He stood up at some point.
'Alex-kun... your talent for getting on people's nerve is unmatched...'
Aika silently looked at Gordon whose expression was dark and his ears red. Saika was giggling like she heard the funniest thing... which was true.
Even Aika was having a hard time not laughing but her training saved her.
Gordon stepped forward. Intending to teach Alex a lesson.
"Hey... did you just insult my parents?"
Gordon stopped infront of Alex. He tried to appear strong but had to look up because Alex was a head taller then him. Half the intimidation tactic fell with that.
"Nah man. You think too highly of yourself."
"Are you saying that my clan, the Gobrolin clan, is insignificant!? Do you have any idea what did you just said!?"
"Yeaaaa... I basically called you guys worthless."
Alex doubled down on his trolling.
'Yeaaaaaa~~ That's what you get bitch! That's what happens when you try to steal my sugger mommy!!'
Alex kept a straight face while internally smirking. Gashoas's face fell. The air around him started twist and turn. Everyone watched the exchange intently. No body daring to make a sound. Saika watched in interest while Aika was beside Saika with her passive expression.
Alex saw the spectacle and... was not impressed. The only effect there was that the air had a but of golden tint.
'Hmmm. How do I insult him more...'
"Stop. What are you doing Gordon? Taking low lives seriously. Do you have no shame? Ant will try to bite when the feel threatened. That's it. They are scared. You don't need to associate yourself with them."
Suddenly, as Alex was brainstorming ideas, a cool male voice interrupted. Gordon looked slightly down, eyes widening slightly in hope. Gordon looked at the newcomer as if he had found a teammate.
Alex looked at the white haired and red eyed boy. He was even shorter than Gordon. But the feeling he exuded was of authority and immense strength.
...Not that it mattered to Alex.
He was looking at the shorty with interest. This guy was another one of the main cats. Young master of a vampire clan.
And Alex had noticed how everyone's reaction changed when he entered the vanue.
'Hmm. He won't be effected by cheap taunts. He is a tough nut to crack.'
Alex smiled. Making Saika and Aika confused while Gordon smirked, thinking Alex got scared and had put on a flattering smile. The new guy just snorted, folded his arms and looked away like even looking at Alex was an existential crime to his eyes.
Alex's smile became even warmer, soft.
'...And even more fun to break!!'
"Fugufu. Your right. I shouldn't talk to low lives. Let's go Aika-chan, Mommy Saika!"
Alex said as he lead Aika and Saika away. Saika finally couldn't hold in and laughed out loud and started talking animatedly with Alex. Aika just shook her head. Not worried one bit that they may be with someone that could bring trouble to their clan.
Gordon and the new guy just stared at Alex's back. The new guy was secretly astonished by how easily Alex had flipped the narrative and didn't wait like a idiot to assert himself more. He let the silence speak.
'Interesting...'
His red eyes gleamed in interest.
Meanwhile. Alex and the girls were already sitting on a bench far away. The gate and score board still visible perfectly. It seems no matter where you are, you will always be near the gate and the score board.
Alex was chatting with Saika and explaining few jokes she didn't understand. Aika listened and giggled time to time because the way he was explaining.
But internally, Alex was feeling quite exited.
'Looks like the upcoming days are full of fun...'
Just imagining the feeling of victory by crushing geniuses of the world, physically and psychologically, was enough to make Alex exited.
He couldn't wait for the school to start...
'But why the fuck everyone is appearing on by one?'
