Cassian's first full smile in months lit the room like sunrise.
I watched him stretch, feeling the weight of fear lift from my chest.
"Promise me something," he said, brushing a stray lock of hair from my face.
"Anything," I whispered.
"Promise me we won't hide ever again. Not from the world, not from each other."
I nodded. "I promise."
