Chapter 3 - The Reincarnation of Johnathan Stone

Over the course of a month, the souls of the million people gradually incarnated into this world, and Johnathan's soul was one of the last to incarnate.

A light breeze flows through a beautiful field of flowers; the sound of hooves can be heard as a unicorn dashes and prances through the floral garden. A young male stirs awake, sitting up from the flowers he was lying in.

The young male looks around and sees the beautiful unicorn, unsure of what it is. He stands slowly, unable to remember anything or how he got there. He reaches out towards the unicorn, which slowly approaches him, having never seen anything like the young boy before.

The light in the male's eyes grew looking at this magnificent creature, his hand reaching out towards the rainbow mane. "You're… magnificent..." A liquid-like aura enveloped the unicorn as it neighed and flew away; little did he know that this was his first experience seeing mana, and this wouldn't be his last experience.

He looked upon himself for the first time; he had four arms, which he instinctively knew was strange, his skin was pale, and his hair was red.

He thought to himself, sitting back down into the flowers. 'I feel like I should give myself a name, but I don't know what to name myself… Hm, maybe Luke? No… Maybe something like Matthew? That doesn't sound right for me… Julius? Yeah, I like the name Julius.' And so his name was decided.

As he ran his hands through the field of flowers surrounding him, he heard a scream coming from the forest in front of him. He followed his protective instincts and immediately ran into the woods towards the scream.

His own speed surprised him; he dodged between the trees, running through thick foliage. As he ran, the occasional thorns ran across his skin but left no mark. After about twenty seconds of running, he found an opening within the trees.

He saw a girl about his age being attacked by a furry beast with tusks coming from its face; he didn't know what to call the thing, but that didn't matter. He put himself in between the tusked animal and the girl; he put his arms out and held it back mid-charge.

His form was perfect for hand-to-hand fighting, being able to alternate between his four arms for attacking and defending with high precision. He used two of his arms to push it back and the other two arms to hit its sides. The small-tusked animal was overwhelmed by Julius and, to save itself, ran away from him.

The girl was terrified looking at his physical form. "W-what are you?" She said in a shaky voice as she started crawling away backwards.

Julius instinctively lowered himself to make himself look less threatening; he put a soft smile on his face. "My name is Julius; what's your name?"

"Isabella," she continues. "I gave myself the name Isabella; I thought it sounded cute. I don't want to be rude, but you're nothing like the other two people I've met so far."

"There are other people?" Julius's face is a little surprised, having only seen her so far. "Are they near, and do you know where we are exactly?"

Her expression softens, seeing Julius doesn't intend to harm her. "Yeah, they were that way," Isabella points towards the end of the forest. "I left to look for food, and that's when that thing attacked me…" She wipes the dirt off her hands.

Julius reaches down with one arm and helps her stand upward before making sure she wasn't injured. Isabella was cut up on the leg where the tusks pierced her leg, but the cuts aren't deep.

The two begin walking out of the forest, heading east towards where the others she met are.
