Prologue: The Stain on Old Maps
Kalprant.
Even today, that city remains a stain on old maps.
The year was 1765.
The night when blood flowed from the hands of tantrics, spilled by King Manikya himself.
The echoes of that night never really faded.
One tantric, Virbhadra, swore revenge.
He didn't just curse the king.
He created something else a Dakin/daayani. A witch.
But this witch didn't stop with the royal family.
She tried to escape her own nature.
Married a farmer. Attempted a normal life.
For two years, she almost believed she'd succeeded.
Then her son was born.
His eyes shone like molten gold the moment he opened them.
In that instant, she knew her son was a more powerful witch than she'd ever been. Born with the ability to drain life with a touch. Born hungry.
In fear and regret, she left him.
Abandoned her child in the wild.
That child… is still a mystery.
Wandering for centuries.
With every breath, he hungers to drink someone's youth.
With every moment, he fights himself. Sometimes he loses. Sometimes he wins.
His mother didn't disappear that night.
A secret organization named Aagya found her.
Captured her.
Even now, she's locked in a hidden lab at the foot of the Himalayas.
They're studying her immortality.
Using the "essence of eternity" extracted from her, they create incomplete, twisted beings.
Virbhadra's spirit is still free.
And he wants the full power of that golden-eyed boy.
Wants it enough to return to life.
And the boy?
He just wanders.
Through this city in 2026, where youths are aging mysteriously because of his presence.
He wants to stop, but he can't.
One side: a secret organization watching him.
The other side: Virbhadra's evil spirit, craving his power.
And caught in the middle is a boy who doesn't know his blood holds the secret of the very royal family that the golden-eyed boy's mother once destroyed.
That boy stands before him now.
And the golden-eyed one knows if he loses control just once, he won't be able to save him either.
