Myles strode forward. Multicolored Ether wrapped his entire body. It was no longer flowing but blazing, licking around his limbs like fire. Red, blue, green, and black intertwined, flaring brighter with every step he took toward Ryan.
He had just used a skill that did not belong to this world. A power that came from a higher realm.
The entity inside Ryan understood that immediately.
High beings like her sometimes played with lower creatures. Sometimes they whispered. Sometimes they tempted them. Sometimes they toyed with those lower creature's fate for their own amusement.
