The zombie rushed towards me, her feet staggering as she opened up her mouth wide, ready to enjoy the best meal of her life.
I ain't even tasty, girl!
I stepped to the right, dodging her incoming attack, before staggering outside as fast as I could. One step at a time, dragging my feet, I got out of the bathroom, and into the waiting room once again.
Unlike how I expected, not all the zombies were coming in my direction.
There was one that attacked me in the bathroom, another one was banging its head against the soda vending machine in the mini cafeteria. As for the others, I saw them through the glass wall of the waiting room, trying their best to enter the nurse room.

The zombie from the bathroom had already turned and was on my way as I began moving out of the waiting room. One step at a time, I pushed myself.
Right. Right. Right. Right.
I aimed to go to the emergency exit, hoping to escape from there to a different floor and perhaps find some place safe.

As soon as I turned to my right, I saw about 10 zombies barging in from the emergency exit. I would have tried to look if there were more behind them, but as you can see, I was limping for my life here.
A dozen zombies blocked my right.
And on the left a dozen were crowding at the door of the nurse room. Shit, they are now coming in my direction.
Two zombies were behind me from the waiting room.

"One at a time! Take a number!" I shouted as I limped towards the garden in front of me, moving forward until I reached the edge, near the railing of the garden.
Turning around, I saw about 30 zombies slowly entering the garden. It won't be even a few seconds before they reach me.
Think! Think! Think! Think! Think!
As my mind began calculating everything that was going on, I tried thinking of all the ways I could escape this madness. Though in the end, all I saw was getting chewed on by the zombies in the near future.
Turning around, looking down, I knew I wouldn't make it if I jump-
Wait! That's!!!!!!
And there I found my hope.
Something that I had forgotten in all this rush.
"You aren't getting me this time," With no time to waste, I spoke in a spiteful tone as I stepped on the railing before looking at those zombies reaching closer to me. And then turning around… I showed my middle fingers to those zombies before letting my body fall freely.
"This is a bad idea! This is a bad idea! This is a bad idea!" I kept shouting until my body fell five floors down…
-Thump!!!
-18 HP
And landed right in the safety net of the hospital.
These were the suicide prevention nets, created in case a patient jumped from a higher floor. It was always there, but because it was never used, I kind of forgot about it.
[HP: 2/30]
"Shit! This was a bad idea," I groaned in pain as my body hit against the rope before rolling down to the center of the safety net. A few seconds later, after I reached the center, I groaned in pain as my whole body ached before I turned to look up above where the zombies were.
"You gotta be kidding me!!!"
And what I saw made me forget all about my pain.
Those zombies, those creatures, were pushing each other against the rails. I could not see it properly, but I was pretty sure that if one of them could break a door, the railing didn't stand a chance against them. It won't be long before they fall down as well.
"Come on, my body! I know we are going through a lot right now, but we gotta pull ourselves," I shouted through the pain as I used my hands to drag myself through the safety net, trying to reach the opposite edge and then hopefully make it into the building.
One hand at a time, I pulled myself up, groaning through the pain, trying to live. One inch at a time, I was pushing myself towards the edge of the safety net.
-Thump!
The first zombie fell.
-Thump!
Another one did in the next moment.
Not affording to waste any moment, I continued to the other side in the west wing tower of the building. Each push seemed far more difficult than the previous, but I continued. I must reach there before the zombies reach me.

-Thump!
-Thump!
With each passing step, I could feel more and more zombies falling into the safety net. The safety net was getting lower with the added weight, making it harder to climb with increased elevation. Yet, I continued.
"Not today… today is not the day…" I gritted my teeth as I crossed most of the way until I reached the edge. It took time, I don't know how much, but it felt like hours to me, as I reached the other side, before pushing myself across the railing, into the building.

-Thump!
-Thump!
The zombies were still falling, perhaps from other floors as well. I could barely turn my head to the side, looking through the railing at the zombies getting collected, concentrating more and more at the center.
"Snap!" I laughed.
-Snap!
And just like I thought, the safety nets couldn't bear the weight of the zombies snapping from one side first.
-Snap!
Then another.
-Snap!
-Snap!
-Snap!
Before starting to break from all sides…
-SNAP!
And then a few seconds later…
-SHATTER!!!!
-BOOOM!!!!!
A huge sound came from below, perhaps from the ceiling glass of the 10th floor, as the entire horde of zombies fell through.
