Chapter 11 - Chapter 11

At the mention of the school construction site, everyone's eyes brightened considerably.

"Right! We've already discovered the Evil Seeds" weakness is the back of their heads. If we can get those things, our ability to protect ourselves will increase drastically!" Hannah Miller looked at Emma Smith with surprise and joy.

Emma Smith nodded and continued: 'secondly, transportation. The school garage is on both sides of the main gate. As long as we can find the keys, we can drive them away."

After she finished speaking, the soft-looking girl who had been crying to save people in the bicycle shed earlier raised her head.

The girl's soft, cute face showed some excitement: "I have two Mercedes-Benzes. One is white, and the other is also white. The keys are in my dorm drawer!"

Emma Smith immediately looked at the pretty, round-faced girl.

This girl had mentioned before that her family was wealthy, but Emma Smith hadn't expected her to be this wealthy.

"Holy crap, Bella Taylor, why didn't you say you had two Mercedes before?!" Hannah Miller exclaimed, her face full of disbelief.

Bella Taylor huffed: "One is mine, and the other is one I bought for my boyfriend. I just haven't had the chance to give it to him yet..."

At the mention of her boyfriend, a look of loneliness filled Bella Taylor's eyes.

Is he even still alive?

"But how do we solve the food problem?"

Lucas Wilson's expression remained very grave.

The cafeteria and supermarket were controlled by those Evil Seeds. They were just waiting for starving survivors to walk right into their trap.

This problem seemed basically unsolvable.

"Leave that problem to me. I just need to hunt a dead Evil Seed while stealing the steel bars." Emma Smith said seriously.

Everyone looked at Emma Smith in astonishment.

Leave it to her?

How is she going to deal with the Evil Seeds ambushing the cafeteria alone? Isn't that just sending herself to die?

"You have to tell me your plan. I can't let you risk your life." Lucas Wilson stared into Emma Smith's eyes, trying to discern her true thoughts.

But Emma Smith just smiled faintly. Her clear, black-and-white eyes held a firmness that put one's heart at ease.

'this plan needs to be kept secret for now. But rest assured, I won't put you all in danger."

This sentence implied that she herself might be in danger.

Lucas Wilson's expression darkened. Seeing the unwavering determination in Emma Smith's eyes, he could only sigh helplessly: "Fine. I will do my best to ensure your safety. You only want a dead Evil Seed, correct?"

Emma Smith nodded.

'so we'll proceed according to Emma Smith's plan?" Alice Brown thought the plan was feasible and stood up to look at the others.

Most people had no objections, except for Zack Martin and his group.

Sitting at a distance, Zack Martin looked coldly at Emma Smith: "If you want to go die, go ahead. I'm not listening to a chick."

The boys behind Zack Martin chimed in: 'the library is the safest place. Going out is suicide. We're not going."

'staying in the library is just waiting to die. Cowards who don't even dare to fight back are trash." Hannah Miller flipped her long, fiery red hair back, looking like a red rose blooming in the night, passionate but thorny.

"Damn it, you dare call me trash!" Zack Martin immediately stood up and marched toward Hannah Miller, looking ready to hit her.

Hannah Miller instantly took a few steps back.

The next second, Jessica Williams stood up, blocking Hannah Miller. She looked down imperiously at the aggressive Zack Martin: 'trash. I said it. Hit me if you have the guts."

Jessica Williams's massive frame was like a mountain, taller and stronger than everyone else.

Seeing Jessica Williams, Zack Martin's arrogance instantly extinguished. He retreated back to his group: "Damn it, none of your business, you dead tank."

Zack Martin's insult was nasty. Jessica Williams frowned and walked toward him: 'say that again?"

Zack Martin hurriedly hid behind the crowd, not daring to speak another word.

Jessica Williams ignored him. She felt that Zack Martin was going to die.

It wasn't that she wanted to murder him; she just felt it. A kind of intuition.

Because Emma Smith's gaze remained fixed on Zack Martin, growing increasingly dangerous.

At night, they divided into three shifts for guard duty while the others rested.

Emma Smith lay on a long table near the window, her head resting on two books, deep in sleep.

Scenes of Evil Seeds killing people flashed through her mind, one by one, every movement, every expression, every detail.

Low-level Evil Seeds lost most of their intelligence and memory.

Mid-level zombies had intelligence but weren't smart.

The truly dangerous ones were the high-level Evil Seeds.

High-level Evil Seeds held absolute dominance over the lower levels.

Since Evil Seeds relied on scent to distinguish between ordinary humans and their own kind, did high-level Evil Seeds emit a specific scent that ordinary humans couldn't smell?

Considering this possibility, Emma Smith recalled reading about fragrance extraction.

Could she extract a scent that would confuse the Evil Seeds?

If she could extract the scent of a high-level Evil Seed, perhaps she could guarantee her safety...

At dawn the next day, just as the sky began to brighten, everyone woke up.

Breakfast consisted of a bag of milk and a packaged marinated egg for each person.

Watching the half-box of eggs being distributed completely, Zack Martin and his group's faces turned an angry shade of green.

Emma Smith zipped her jacket up to the top and looked at Zack Martin: "Not planning to come with us to get weapons?"

Zack Martin sneered with disdain: "Heh, you're all looking for death. I hope you all get bitten to death by those monsters outside, save us from wasting food on you!"

Emma Smith withdrew her gaze indifferently: "In that case, any weapons we bring back won't be shared with you."
