Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Lopunny, the Bunny Girl

Just as Hakuya was sighing in contemplation, a sudden rustling sound came from the bushes not far from the farmland.

"Chururu~"

A Pokémon resembling a rabbit from his previous world hopped out from the thicket.

Fluffy, cream-colored fur wrapped around her shapely body, glowing with a warm luster under the sunlight.

A pair of round amber eyes sparkled, vaguely carrying three parts curiosity and seven parts naive charm.

However, the most eye-catching feature was her pair of ears, which were comparable to her body length, looking like two maple leaves curled by the breeze.

The tips of the ears curled naturally into a playful arc, while the inner side revealed a bashful shade of pink.

"Lopunny?!"

Hakuya was a bit surprised; he hadn't expected that a cute Lopunny was actually living on his farm.

In the next moment, her data immediately materialized before Hakuya's eyes.

[Name: Lopunny]

[Type: Normal]

[Gender: Female]

[Level: Lv23]

[Ability: Limber (Its flexible body protects it from paralysis)]

[Moves: Return, Healing Wish, Bounce, Rototill, Dig, Quick Attack, High Jump Kick, Substitute, Agility]

[Egg Moves: Copycat, Power-Up Punch]

[Equipped Traits: None]

Staring at the farmland before her, Lopunny froze for a moment before turning to look at the handsome young man and the green-and-white silhouette opposite her.

"Chururu~"

She blinked her eyes, her voice soft and sweet like freshly steamed glutinous rice balls, carrying a slightly timid trailing note.

"Master, she's asking why we suddenly intruded upon her territory?"

After being transmitted through the translation of psychic powers, Gardevoir's cold voice rang out opportunely in the Trainer's ear.

Having heard this, Hakuya nodded slightly.

It seemed that the Lopunny in front of him had been here for quite some time.

After his grandfather passed away, the farm was left unattended, and many Pokémon had slipped into the farm from the outside forest as a result.

"In fact, the true owners of this farm should be us."

Hakuya shook his head gently toward Lopunny and explained.

"If you came from the forest side, you should have seen a whole row of pre-erected fences on the perimeter."

"That is the evidence that we have designated this place as our territory."

In the Pokémon world, the relationship between Pokémon and humans is actually quite subtle.

Many Trainers spend day and night with their Pokémon during travel, battles, and breeding, establishing firm bonds.

But in the wild, many wild Pokémon harbor hostility toward humans. Looking at the news released by the League in recent years, incidents of wild Pokémon attacking humans and cities are not uncommon.

Therefore, Hakuya believed that if verbal communication was possible, it was necessary to avoid pointless armed conflict.

"Chururu?"

So that's how it was?

Different from her sexy appearance that resembled a bunny girl, the internally naive Lopunny tilted her head ignorantly.

After listening to Hakuya's narrative, she suddenly had a bit of an impression; there was indeed a row of fences from the forest edge to this farm, though they had all fallen to the ground.

Thinking of this, Lopunny inevitably lowered her head in disappointment, and her shapely, sexy figure was exposed without reservation in Hakuya's eyes.

She was not the brutal type of wild Pokémon; upon learning that she was actually the intruder, she was first startled, and then her face turned red with deep guilt.

"Chururu..."

I guess I have to move again...

Just as she was about to turn around and leave in low spirits, the Trainer in front of her suddenly reached out and called her to stop.

"Wait a minute, are you interested in joining our farm?"

"Chururu!"

Lopunny's amber pupils shimmered with watery light, and her fluffy long ears snapped upright with a "swish."

Does this mean you want to take me in?

"Of course, room and board included."

Seeing that the little creature in front of him seemed moved, Hakuya smiled gently.

Setting aside the cute Lopunny-girl for a moment, Hakuya was tempted just by looking at the displayed panel.

Her level wasn't high, but she had mastered many skills, having both high-power fighting moves like High Jump Kick and the Rototill move to plow the fields.

From any angle, this Lopunny was an exceptionally good choice.

Of course, this scene fell into Gardevoir's eyes as a different kind of scenery altogether.

"Gardevoir~"

Hmph, Master, are you really just craving her talent?

Aren't you just losing your mind to that sexy bunny girl? How depraved!

Gardevoir pouted her lips with a bit of jealousy.

However, Gardevoir, who was always good at self-persuasion, had another thought; it seemed that having one more Lopunny wasn't necessarily a bad thing for her.

Because recently, Gardevoir had surprisingly discovered that the Trainer's body seemed to be getting stronger and stronger.

Even after so many "interactions," the experienced her could no longer withstand his conquest, and every time ended with her making an ahegao face.

"Gardevoir~"

But I really do love the feeling of being filled up...

Thinking of the Trainer's unreasonable ravishment, watery light shimmered again in Gardevoir's emerald eyes.

She bit her lower lip with her pearly teeth, and her entire pretty face was covered in a deep crimson.

Suddenly, her whole body tightened like a fully drawn bow, and her tender white toes sank deep into the farm soil.

Oh no, I'm... I'm about to leak—

On the other side, Hakuya and Lopunny, who were staring at each other, naturally had no time to look over there.

"Chururu!"

After pondering for a moment, the naive Lopunny finally agreed to Hakuya's invitation.

But before joining, this little creature's expression suddenly became exceptionally serious, and she seemed to say something softly.

"You mean, we have to have a battle first?"

"Chururu!" Lopunny nodded her head in agreement.

"Of course, no problem."

Hakuya agreed readily.

In the Pokémon world, it has never been just Trainers choosing Pokémon; certain Pokémon will simultaneously conduct a reverse inspection to see if their Trainer is qualified.

For instance, in the Unova region, Professor Juniper has complained more than once in the League Times:

The number of Snivy actively abandoning their Trainers has been increasing in recent years; many new-generation Trainers can't even get through the grass of Route 1.

"Gardevoir, prepare for battle!"

Hakuya gave a grand wave of his hand, and a green-and-white silhouette flashed to the front.

"Gardevoir~"

Gardevoir brought her hands together at her chest, her cold, pretty face lifted as if she was already standing by for combat.

Only, for some unknown reason, several faint streaks of blush remained on her face.

"Chururu!"

The Lopunny, having turned serious, seemed to lose her previous naive clumsiness and slowly walked to the opposite side of Hakuya and Gardevoir.

"You take the first move."

Hakuya said calmly.

As the wind stopped and the leaves fell, Lopunny turned into a brown flash, charging toward Gardevoir.

[Quick Attack: Pounces on the target with lightning speed. This move always goes first.]

"Decent speed."

Hakuya raised his eyebrows slightly, also surprised by the speed Lopunny displayed.

If relying solely on the Trainer's command, facing such a swift move, it would often happen that the Trainer wouldn't have time to shout before the waiting Pokémon would be hit head-on.

But unfortunately, the one she was facing was Gardevoir.

"Chururu?!"

Lopunny, who had charged with all her might, skidded to a halt and looked around in a daze.

She had... actually disappeared!
