Chapter 51 - Miura Yumiko's Emergency Commission

Soon, Kawashima Toya logged into the 5v5 MOBA game again, instantly locking the carry role regardless of his teammates' protests.

"Excuse me, is this the agency that accepts paranormal commissions?"

Just as the game started, a clear female voice, filled with exhaustion and anxiety, sounded from outside the door.

In an instant, all the girls turned their gazes to the entrance.

Outside the main door stood a beautiful girl with messy hair and a dusty face, leaning against the doorframe and gasping for breath.

This client had arrived in a panic, running all the way here.

Despite her disheveled hair and dusty cheeks, it was still evident that she knew how to dress well.

Her beautiful face, paired with fashionable attire, made her very trendy—a look with immense destructive power against adolescent boys.

However, right now, she had little beauty or nobility, only overwhelming sleazyness and terror.

As guests, Yusa and the others remained silent, turning their eyes to Toya.

Everyone knew clearly that Toya was the master here.

This kind of formal business could only be handled by him.

Yukinoshita Yukino and Yuigahama Yui saw the sleazy girl, and a trace of surprise flashed in their beautiful eyes.

"Is that Miura Yumiko?"

They exchanged glances, confirming their guess.

The current Miura Yumiko was too sleazy, completely lacking the imposing aura of the "Queen" of Sobu High School.

Toya handed a glass of water to the panting girl. "Don't panic. Speak slowly."

"I am the owner and detective of the Trash Fox Detective Agency."

"I am responsible for handling all kinds of paranormal commissions."

Miura Yumiko grabbed Toya's hand tightly, her expression anxious. "Save my friend!"

"My friend, Ebina Hina, was taken by a group of incredibly ugly monsters."

"Those monsters were originally going to take me, but Hina stopped them..."

"And let me escape."

"I understand." Toya's expression turned serious. "Where did the disappearance occur?"

"The bridge outside the commercial district!" Yumiko replied immediately.

"Alright. I'll go retrieve Ebina Hina for you. Discuss the commission price with Kasumigaoka Utaha!"

After ending the conversation, Toya grabbed the Demon Sword Murasame, ready to head out and find Ebina Hina.

The Yuki-Onna, Yusa, stepped forward and asked with concern, "Kawashima-kun, I can help."

"No need." Toya rejected Yusa's offer. "I'll go alone."

With that, he rushed out hurriedly.

With Yusa's help, the speed of finding Ebina Hina would certainly increase.

However, he was worried about uncontrollable situations.

The ugly monsters described by Yumiko fit the description of Evil God minions perfectly.

If Yusa accidentally got corrupted while helping... Toya didn't dare imagine how terrifying an adult Yuki-Onna turned into an Evil God minion would be.

Rejected, Yusa watched Toya's retreating figure with worry in her beautiful eyes and murmured, "May fortune be with you!"

Since she couldn't help directly, this was the only thing she could do.

Take care of the Trash Fox Detective Agency for him, ensuring he could smile when he returned.

In just half an hour, the lovestruck Yusa had already mentally assumed the role of a wife.

Kasumigaoka Utaha walked up to the resting Yumiko with a smile. "Client, let's discuss the commission price."

Toya had talked to her about the fees for paranormal commissions.

She understood the dangers involved and wouldn't charge a penny less than necessary.

Charging less would be disrespectful to the risks Toya was taking.

"Yumiko, what happened?" Once the formalities were roughly settled, Yui pulled Yumiko aside to ask.

At Toya's desk, the MOBA game on his phone had just started. Due to the commission, he had no choice but to go AFK.

Far away in her apartment, Gabriel stared at the AFK player "Trash Fox" and fell into a long silence.

Silence was followed by an eruption of rage.

"You bastard! I waited so long for you, even playing support just to troll you, and you go AFK again?!"

----

Outside.

After leaving the agency, Toya moved through the concrete jungle at a speed unimaginable to ordinary people, aiming to reach the location Yumiko mentioned as fast as possible.

He chose to traverse directly over the high-rise buildings. With his physical fitness far surpassing that of a normal human, this wasn't difficult.

Doing so was much faster than taking a car.

Traffic jams were common in Tokyo during the morning.

If he traveled slowly and arrived at the scene late, the aura of the Evil God minions would have long dissipated.

At that point, tracking them would require paying a hefty price.

Although the System Shop sold various tracking items, they cost Source Points.

Comparing money to Source Points... it obviously wasn't worth it.

"The aura is still there. I can follow it." Not long after, Toya activated his Mystic Eyes of Death Perception. Seeing the faint, filthy black aura flowing on the bridge, he deduced the general direction.
