Chapter 41
"What's wrong? You've been staring at me like that."
Ling Yu turned to see Kushina looking at him strangely and asked.
"That ninjutsu of yours earlier looked cool, but… why does it feel so girly when a guy like you uses it?"
Kushina held up a crystal fragment left behind from when Ling Yu had used the technique, staring at him with a weird expression.
"Uh… that was just a small technique I used on purpose so he wouldn't know my real identity."
Sweat dripped down Ling Yu's forehead as he quickly made up an excuse. But deep down, he wasn't thinking that at all.
Should've never used Crystal Release to show off. I thought Mikoto and the others would find it cool, but Kushina thinks it's girly. Decided—sealing it away forever. Never using it again.
"Can you teach it to me?"
Just as Ling Yu was resolving to abandon Crystal Release, Kushina suddenly grabbed his arm, looking at him with eager eyes.
"Huh?" Ling Yu was taken aback.
"I said—can you teach me? Even if it looks girly when you use it, that ninjutsu is really pretty! I think it suits me perfectly. I want something that flashy too!"
Kushina held his hand tightly, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
Though Kushina usually acted bold and brash, she was still a girl at heart—she loved beautiful things just like any other.
"Uh… sure, I can."
Gritting his teeth, Ling Yu nodded. So you want it for yourself.
He suddenly remembered there was an item in the system shop that could transfer kekkei genkai. As long as he had enough points, he could get it—and pass the unwanted Crystal Release to Kushina.
"Promise me, okay? You have to teach me properly!"
Kushina was already beaming with excitement, daydreaming about how cool she'd look using Crystal Release.
"Alright, we've wasted enough time. Tsunade-nee is probably getting impatient."
Seeing the two about to drag things out again, Mikoto stepped in to smooth things over. Only then did Ling Yu snap back, activate Space Power, and bring everyone back to the Senju residence.

Senju Residence
After a simple dinner at Ling Yu's house, Kushina proudly recounted her heroic feat of taking on five opponents in the afternoon, drawing Tsunade's full attention.
Tsunade, full of righteous indignation, declared she would go to the school tomorrow and demand justice for Kushina.
Afterward, the three girls sat on the sofa whispering among themselves—mostly Tsunade talking while Mikoto and Kushina listened. It was clear Tsunade was going all out for Ling Yu's harem-building project.
Ling Yu, having no part in their conversation, sat on the other end of the sofa, closed his eyes, and sank his consciousness into the system space out of boredom.
"System, open personal panel."

"Still one Exquisite Chest left?"
Ling Yu glanced at the Exquisite Chest from defeating Uchiha Fugaku, but he felt no desire to open it.
The rewards from Exquisite Chests no longer excited him. With his current strength, the ninjutsu they contained offered little improvement. Only Precious Chests could still spark anticipation.
"1000 Exchange Points… I've saved up this long—finally time to use them."
Remembering his promise to teach Kushina Crystal Release, he browsed the shop for useful items.
"System, filter for the item I want."
The overwhelming variety of items made his head spin. In the end, he chose the simplest method.
Bloodline Transfer Card: Transfers one of the host's kekkei genkai to another person. After successful transfer, the host permanently loses that kekkei genkai. Cost: 500 Exchange Points. Bloodline Copy Card: Copies one of the host's kekkei genkai to another person. After successful copy, the host retains the kekkei genkai. Cost: 1000 Exchange Points.
Note: These items cannot be used on high-grade kekkei genkai (e.g., Sharingan, Byakugan, Wood Release, Dust Release, etc.).
"The Copy Card looks great, but it's too expensive. And Crystal Release is one of my weaker abilities anyway. I'll go with the Transfer Card."
After a moment of hesitation, Ling Yu decided the Transfer Card was better. He immediately purchased it.
Ding! Congratulations, host! Purchase successful. Deducted 500 Exchange Points.
Emerging from the system space, Ling Yu took out the Bloodline Transfer Card and examined it closely.
"Hey! Ling Yu, what's that in your hand?"
Before he could finish looking, Kushina snatched the card from behind him. She flipped it around excitedly, treating it like an interesting toy.
She had already learned from Tsunade that Ling Yu often pulled out strange items, so she'd been watching him closely. The moment he took it out, she rushed over and grabbed it.
Ling Yu turned and saw Mikoto and Tsunade also standing up, looking curiously at the card.
"Didn't you want to learn Crystal Release? With this card, you'll master it instantly."
Not keeping her in suspense, Ling Yu directly explained the card's function.
"Huh?! Really? This little card can make me learn Crystal Release instantly?"
Hearing it concerned her, Kushina immediately shoved the card back into his hand and sat right next to him, staring expectantly.
"How do I use it? Tell me quickly!"
"Wait, don't rush."
Holding back Kushina, who kept rubbing against him excitedly, Ling Yu turned to Mikoto and Tsunade.
"Do either of you want to learn Crystal Release?"
"No thanks. Crystal Release isn't useful for me—it doesn't suit my style. Give it to Kushina."
Tsunade smiled and shook her head.
Crystal Release was too weak for her. Though flashy, its flaws were too obvious. She preferred the straightforward power of Super Strength.
"I don't need it either. I still haven't finished studying the ninjutsu scrolls you gave me before, and I'm still developing my Sharingan. Give it to Kushina."
Mikoto also declined. She was still working through half the ninjutsu scrolls from Orochimaru that Ling Yu had obtained. Plus, with Ling Yu's help, her Sharingan had only recently reached two-tomoe. He had already told her the future path of evolution—she'd rather focus on that than spend time on Crystal Release.
"Alright then. I'll give Crystal Release to Kushina."
Since both girls weren't interested, Ling Yu didn't force it. Besides, he only had one Transfer Card anyway.
Following the system's instructions for use, Ling Yu began.
"Okay, hold this side of the card. I'll hold the other."
He gripped one corner of the card while placing the opposite corner in Kushina's hand.
Then he channeled Crystal Release chakra into the card. A red light glowed across its surface. Soon, the same red light enveloped Kushina's body.
After a moment, the light faded. The card turned to ash and vanished. Kushina returned to normal.
"How is it?" Ling Yu asked.
"Amazing! This lady has completely mastered Crystal Release!"
Feeling the full understanding of Crystal Release in her mind, Kushina exclaimed excitedly.
"That's great!" Mikoto, as her close friend, was the first to congratulate her.
"Hehehe."
When the time was right, Ling Yu sent Mikoto home. Tsunade also took Kushina back to her room. The celebration for Kushina's first day finally came to an end.
