The door opened from the inside, and Tsunade stepped out.

"Good morning, Sis. I was just about to wake you up for breakfast."
He had thought Tsunade would sleep in late because of her drinking the night before, but surprisingly she had woken up early today.
"Mmm, good morning. I drank too much yesterday and didn't even finish much ramen. I slept straight through and now I'm starving."
Watching Tsunade devour the food like a hungry wolf, Ling Yu—who wasn't very hungry—didn't compete with her. Instead, he sat quietly to the side and waited for her to finish.
In the end, the entire breakfast ended up in Tsunade's stomach.
By midday, Team Ling Yu was once again gathered at the Senju clan's training ground.
Tsunade, having nothing else to do, leaned against a nearby tree to rest while watching the others.
Mikoto and Kushina sat side by side on the stone steps, while Ling Yu stood in front of them.
"Since we just completed an A-rank mission yesterday, and Mikoto has only recently gained her Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and hasn't fully adapted to her new power yet, we won't be taking any more missions for the next few days."
Standing before the three girls, Ling Yu explained their plan for the coming days.
"Of course, while Mikoto is getting used to her power, I've also found two training methods similar to the Six Powers. I'll teach them to you all later."
"Huh? What kind of training methods?"
The moment she heard there were new skills to learn, Kushina eagerly raised her hand and asked.
Mikoto and Tsunade (who was resting against the tree) also turned their attention to Ling Yu.
Because Mikoto had already gained the power of the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, her strength had pulled far ahead. To avoid falling too far behind and becoming the weakest in the team, Kushina was especially eager to find ways to increase her own power.

With that, Ling Yu walked to an open spot, took out a prepared cloth, and tied it over his eyes.
"Are you really going to fight me like this?"
Kushina asked hesitantly, though the excitement in her eyes was obvious.
She had long wanted to give Ling Yu a good beating. In the past, when he was stronger, she couldn't do anything. But now… hehe, since you asked for it, this lady will reluctantly teach you a lesson!
"Will this be okay?" Mikoto, still sitting in place, asked worriedly as she watched the two of them.
If Ling Yu had said he would fight Kushina one-on-one normally, she wouldn't have been concerned—Ling Yu would definitely hold back.
But now he was blindfolding himself and refusing to use chakra while facing a full-power Kushina. Mikoto felt he was being a bit too reckless. One mistake and he could get hurt.
"It should be fine. Trust him."
Tsunade walked over at that moment.
Although she wasn't entirely confident either, she believed Ling Yu had a reason for doing this.

Though she wanted to beat him badly, she still started with a cautious test attack.

The stone flew straight toward Ling Yu's chest.
Just as it was about to hit him, Ling Yu swiftly sidestepped, narrowly avoiding the attack.
"Eh?! He dodged it!"
Mikoto exclaimed in surprise.
"Coincidence?"
Seeing Ling Yu's movement, Tsunade narrowed her eyes, wondering.
"Testing time's over, Kushina. Come at me with full power now—or you won't be able to hit me."
Dodging the attack, Ling Yu laughed and taunted her.
"Then I won't hold back!"
Hearing the disdain in his voice, Kushina stopped holding back.
"Adamantine Sealing Chains!"
Forming hand seals, Kushina unleashed her most familiar technique.
In the next instant, dozens of golden chains extended from her back and whipped toward Ling Yu at high speed.
Meanwhile, Ling Yu continued dodging through the dense barrage of chains while slowly walking toward Kushina—as if completely unaffected.
Every time a chain was about to hit him, Ling Yu would preemptively predict it and evade with perfect precision.
"So amazing!"
Watching Ling Yu's movements, both Mikoto and Tsunade—who were observing from the sidelines—exclaimed in astonishment.
Even Mikoto unconsciously activated her Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan as she watched.
Though she could clearly see the trajectory of Kushina's attacks, with her current reaction speed, she still couldn't completely evade such a dense barrage.

Forming hand seals, Kushina unleashed her most numerous long-range attack.

In the next moment, hundreds of crystal shuriken appeared in the air, attacking Ling Yu from every direction with no blind spots.
"Hehe, now you definitely can't dodge them all! Let's see if you still refuse to use chakra!"
Watching the sky filled with flying shuriken, Kushina crossed her arms and revealed a confident smile, as if victory was already decided.
"Armament Haki."
Facing such a massive barrage, Ling Yu knew his current Observation Haki level wasn't high enough to dodge everything perfectly. He immediately activated Armament Haki.
In an instant, his arms were coated in a black sheen. While dodging the crystal shuriken, he used his Haki-coated hands to deflect the ones he couldn't avoid.
Clang clang clang clang—
Sparks flew from his arms with every collision.
When the last crystal shuriken was knocked away, Ling Yu had already reached Kushina. He removed the blindfold from his eyes.
Then he tilted his head, looking at the stunned Kushina, and smiled:
"So? Pretty cool, right?"
