Chapter 65: The Hokage Takes the Field – Sleeping Together with Tsunade
"The Land of Earth and the Land of Wind have joined forces? That means at least four Kage-level fighters are attacking us, plus Hanzō—this 'demigod of the ninja world' who's even a bit stronger than a regular Kage. Five Kage-level powerhouses in total."
Ling Yu calmly counted the combat power the enemy nations had committed. Each major nation had sent at least two Kage-level fighters, while the Land of Rain had Hanzō alone.
The number of jōnin and chūnin participating was even greater. Between two major nations and the Land of Rain, their total forces were at least double Konoha's.
Right now, Konoha's frontline had only Koharu Utatane as the overall commander (a senior advisor to the Hokage), plus Jiraiya and Orochimaru—who were both near quasi-Kage level. The disparity in strength was overwhelming.
No wonder Hiruzen Sarutobi had called an emergency meeting and was dispatching Tsunade and the others to the front.
"It's also thanks to the Cloud ninja tying down part of the Rock ninja forces. Otherwise, Konoha's situation would be even more dangerous right now," Tsunade added from the side.
Although Konoha still harbored resentment toward the Cloud ninja after their kidnapping attempt on the Uzumaki clan, if not for the Land of Rain situation, Konoha might have already declared war on them.
But for now, the Cloud ninja had unintentionally done Konoha a favor by holding back some of the Rock ninja's offensive power—giving Konoha a little breathing room.
"Then… isn't it very dangerous for you to go to the battlefield, Big Sis Tsunade?"
"Yeah! They have so many Kage-level fighters on the other side. You can't possibly fight five at once, right?"
Mikoto and Kushina chimed in at the same time, their faces full of worry.
By now, they both understood how dire Konoha's current situation was—and they were deeply concerned about Tsunade, who was about to head to the front lines.
"It's fine. I'm not the only one joining the battlefield this time. The Third Hokage himself is leading the charge, along with his ANBU captain Sakumo Hatake. Danzo is also assisting. That's three Kage-level fighters right there."
Tsunade gently ruffled Mikoto and Kushina's heads, speaking in a relaxed tone:
"With them holding the front line, I probably won't run into any real danger."
Besides, her current strength was already very high. Even if she were surrounded by multiple Kage-level opponents, she could easily escape into the sky using Lunar Step if things got bad.
"Even the Third Hokage is heading to the battlefield… We're definitely going to win this war, right?"
As the war situation grew increasingly dire, even Mikoto began to worry for Konoha.
"Definitely."
"Alright, it's getting late. You two should head home and rest. I need to get a good night's sleep too—so I'll be in top shape for the battlefield tomorrow."
Standing up and stretching, Tsunade ended the heavy conversation and spoke to the three still sitting on the sofa.
"Okay…"
With that, Ling Yu escorted Mikoto and Kushina home one by one. Afterward, he also prepared to return to his room and sleep.
"Wait a second."
At that moment, Tsunade stepped out of her room after taking a bath—just as Ling Yu was about to open his door. She called out to him.
"Hm? What's up, Sis?"
Ling Yu paused, turning back in confusion. But the moment he looked at her, he froze completely.
Tsunade had clearly just finished her bath. Her golden hair was still slightly damp, and droplets of water glistened on her snow-white skin.
She wore only a thin silk nightgown that clung to her perfect curves—barely containing her ample chest, half of which was exposed to the air.
Faced with this breathtaking sight, Ling Yu unconsciously swallowed hard.
Tsunade didn't notice the change in his eyes. She walked straight up to him, crouched down, gently stroked his head, and said:
"Big Sis is heading to the battlefield tomorrow. I might not be back for months. So tonight… sleep with me, okay?"
With that, she scooped him up and carried him straight toward her own room.
His head was pressed against her massive chest. Every step she took caused the soft mounds to rub against his cheeks.
Even through the thin nightgown, Ling Yu could feel the overwhelming softness against his face.
A sweet milky scent mixed with floral fragrance filled his nose—Tsunade's natural body scent combined with the lingering aroma of her bath products.
For a moment, his mind went completely blank.
"Mmm… is this really okay?"
Only when Tsunade gently laid him down on her bed did Ling Yu finally snap out of it. Looking at her lying sideways next to him, he averted his eyes in embarrassment.
Damn it! Lying down makes them look even bigger!
Because of the way she was positioned, Tsunade's already enormous chest had become truly super-sized. The dazzling white cleavage made it hard for Ling Yu to even open his eyes.
Truly… looking from the side, it's like a mountain range—different from every angle.
"Hehe. Didn't you used to love acting spoiled and clinging to me? Now that you've grown up, you don't want to be close to your big sis anymore?"
Pulling the blanket over them—finally covering some of the distracting view—Tsunade spoke with a hint of complaint.
Back then, he used to crawl into her arms all the time. Now that he was older, he rarely got close to her anymore. Tsunade found the change a little hard to adjust to.
"Um…" Ling Yu stammered, unable to find words.
He couldn't exactly say he was grown up now and couldn't handle the stimulation anymore.
"Alright, I get it. You've been pushing yourself too hard lately—trying to get stronger, acting like a full adult all the time."
"It's okay. Relax a little. You're not alone. You've got me, Kushina, Mikoto—we're all here supporting you."
Gently stroking Ling Yu's head, Tsunade spoke in a soft, soothing voice.
"Mm… I know. Thank you, Sis."
Though she had misunderstood, Ling Yu didn't correct her.
"Alright, time to sleep."
Thinking Ling Yu had listened, Tsunade stopped talking. She pulled him into her arms and gently patted his back—like coaxing a baby to sleep.
In such a warm, comforting embrace, Ling Yu gradually relaxed. Clearing his mind, he soon fell asleep.
The Next Day – Midday – Senju Residence
Because of how stimulating the night had been, Ling Yu slept in unusually late. When he woke up, Tsunade was already gone.
After she left, Ling Yu made a simple breakfast, ate, and headed toward the training ground.
"You're so slow, Ling Yu! You actually made this lady wait half an hour!"
The moment he stepped into the training field, Kushina jumped onto him angrily and shouted right into his ear.
As if just venting her frustration, she hopped off him immediately afterward and ran back to Mikoto's side.
"Hiss~ You can't even wait half an hour? You're so short-tempered, Kushina—be careful or you'll never get married."
His head still ringing from her shout, Ling Yu took a moment to recover before teasing her back.
"Hmph! If I can't get married, I'll just stay at your house forever. Your family's loaded—you can afford to keep me."
Kushina's anger flared up again as she shouted at him.
"I can't afford you. If you bankrupt me with your eating habits, what am I supposed to do? You eat like a pig!"
Ling Yu waved his hand dismissively, continuing to tease her.
"Ahhh! Ling Yu—I'm gonna bite you to death!"
Unable to hold back any longer, Kushina's red hair practically floated with rage. She roared and lunged at him.
"Hehe—can't catch me! Can't catch me!"
Using Space Power, Ling Yu dodged every time Kushina pounced—making sure she missed every single time.
"Alright, you two—stop messing around. Otherwise we won't have any time left to train."
Watching the two chase each other for ten full minutes, Mikoto sighed helplessly. She grabbed both of them by the collar—one in each hand—and tossed them to the ground.
Sometimes she felt like she was the real team leader. The moment Ling Yu and Kushina saw each other, they started bickering—and every time, she had to step in to stop them.
"Ahem, alright—no more fooling around. Let's start training."
After playing enough, Ling Yu stopped wasting time and began guiding the two girls seriously.
…
Another ordinary day of training passed. Everyone's strength improved just a little more.
The sun had already set, and the sky was growing dark.
After sending the now fully pacified (thanks to a huge meal) Kushina home, Ling Yu turned to Mikoto and said:
"Come on, I'll walk you back."
"Mm."
