The One Who Cannot Die
The Ansha stood before them, calm as ever, his blue robe pristine, untouched by battle or blood. The land itself seemed to bow to his presence.
"Ansha!" LuQi shouted, forcing defiance into his voice.
"If you intend to kill us, then do it now!"
Fear spread through the group despite the bravado.
The Ansha chuckled softly.
"Even at the brink of death, you remain bold."
As he spoke, he adjusted his robe. His gaze lingered briefly on Nem—just a heartbeat—before shifting to Xiao Yan.
Xiao Yan met his eyes.
"How did you survive?"
The Ansha ignored the question, instead looking toward the weakened Saints.
"What makes you believe I owe you answers?"
Xiao Yan smiled faintly, despite everything.
"I just feel… you're special."
The Ansha laughed openly this time.
"You think sweet words will lower my guard?"
"You got me," Xiao Yan admitted. "But I doubt you expected this."
In an instant, Xiao Yan's body shimmered—
He transformed into a butterfly.
Gasps erupted as he slipped through the barrier effortlessly, reforming behind it. Power surged from him as lightning cracked through the air, racing toward the Ansha.
But the Ansha dodged.
And in that moment—
Xiao Yan passed through him.
The world twisted.
