The Return of Mi-An
Mi-An sat cross-legged on the wooden floor of the small, dimly lit hut, her aura gently pulsing as she cultivated. The incense smoke from the corner of the room curled around her, yet even that could not mask the sudden shift in the air. A chill wind passed through her, ruffling her hair and causing her to open her eyes instinctively.
Before her, a figure appeared — tall, commanding, yet serene. His presence radiated both warmth and authority. Mi-An's heart skipped a beat.
"Father!" she gasped, standing abruptly.
"Mi-An! What are you doing?" the figure said softly, his voice carrying both concern and power.
Tears rolled down her cheeks as she knelt before him. "Father! I'm sorry. I failed you. I'm not powerful enough…"
"You are my daughter," he said gently, placing his hand on her shoulder. "And I will give you the power you need. What will you do with it?"
Her eyes hardened with determination. "Xiao Yan… I will protect him. And Nem… I'll reveal who he truly is."
Her father's gaze softened. "Do you think Xiao Yan will believe you?"
"I have a plan," she whispered, more to herself than to him.
