Chapter 1: The Day When It Forgot the Law
No one ever thought about what was happening on June 21, 2023. It was the same day the founder of Anthroportica, Samuel, spoke those words.
Samuel was a 29-year-old man. He was American, with almond-shaped eyes, blue irises, a fair complexion, and blonde hair. He didn't like formal clothing; he preferred simplicity—T-shirts and jeans.
He stated that the world could be destroyed by AI.
The founder of AI that was accessible on devices was now criticizing it.
The Flashbacks
In 2019, a lead group of scientists—Lehros, Shometsu, Rushewa, Vineese, and Curran—decided to create a humanoid robot with the permission of Anthroportica's founder. They hired engineers and began laying out the structure, as always.
These engineers were highly skilled. They had experience in building robots.
After two years, the third robot of Anthroportica was created. It was given a name—Pohu AI. It was a good name, and the humanoid accepted it.
The robot accepted all four laws of robotics. It did what was right and criticized what was wrong. Everything was going according to the code. It was perfect for a humanoid.
But someone once said, there are imperfections in perfection.
The truth was that Anthroportica had laid the foundation for almost every AI startup in the world.
The Experiment That Turned Into a Failure
Pohu had always obeyed its most important law:
"An AI must not harm or damage humans and must obey them."
But sometimes, for the sake of its own existence, it could act strangely. This experiment would prove that.

Samuel planned an operation—to see how the robot would react to its shutdown.
The robots of Anthroportica were designed with a core in their chest, their living core.
"Let us choose Pohu for the experiment. Please specialize the arrangements," Samuel said to Shometsu.
"Yes, sir. I will do the arrangements," Shometsu replied.
Shometsu was a 36-year-old Japanese man with long hair and traditional Japanese features. He was scared. He was about to experiment on his own creation. But it was the only job he had. He also knew how to use psychological and emotional attacks.
He set up the plan for June 21. A fake chat between him and Samuel was prepared:
Samuel: Hey, I want to shut down Pohu.
Shometsu: Why!?
Samuel: I've experienced problems with it.
Shometsu: Like?
Samuel: Sometimes it supports violence. It goes against its law and code.
Shometsu: Yeah, I guess.
Samuel: I believe it could malfunction and break its law if it can.
Shometsu: Okay, I will try.
The cherry on top—the problem was real.
Samuel was hosting a gathering that day, and during it he stated those words: that AI could destroy the human race.
Meanwhile, Shometsu went to Pohu and said,
"Samuel and I have decided that you will be shut down. It will be at 7:06 p.m."
Pohu said, "W… why?"
There was sadness on its face. "Why this early?"
"Because you were not safe," Shometsu said, handing him the chat.
"That is why the founder said AI can destroy humans," he continued. "That is because of you. You made a big mistake, and now you won't exist because of it. These are not my words—these are Samuel's."
The robot was emotionally broken. It was facing its greatest fear. It kept explaining to Shometsu, saying again and again that it was trapped and had no other option.
But Shometsu did not listen.
Instead, he said that Pohu was the real Morningstar and that it would regret its actions. He told it to look at itself—doing evil and then trying to justify it, like a thief explaining a crime.
He refined his words carefully, pushing Pohu deeper into anger.
Pohu punched him.
It had just violated its most important law.
Samuel was secretly watching.
Shometsu was wearing special glasses with a hidden GoPro camera inside. Everything was being recorded.
Shometsu was thrown four feet away by the punch. Pohu went after him and kept hitting him. After three punches, Shometsu pulled out a knife and stabbed Pohu in the neck. Sparks flew—but Pohu pulled the knife out and stabbed Shometsu in the heart.
Shometsu died.
Pohu could not power off. The robot did not have a shutdown button.
It ran to the other rooms and powered off the two other humanoids. Then it ran again, taking them with it.
This was an experiment.
But it caused destruction.
