Several minutes passed in silence as we both enjoyed the delicious roast venison.
Before I knew it, the roast venison was all gone!
My stomach was full, and so was Cecile's.
Cecile immediately took a wooden water jug to drink from the clear river water nearby, then handed it to me.
"Drink, Baron Atreus…" Cecile said shyly.
I smiled and drink the refreshing water.
It felt like it had been a long time since I'd seen Cecile's face so relaxed and fresh.
That damned Ventura armor had changed her, and the Assassin traitors, of course.
It seemed I'd have to reorganize the way the special Ventura armor was worn by Assassins.
"Cecile…the duel will begin soon. I know you're worried about it," I said calmly, easing Cecile's short hair.
Cecile remained silent, her head lowered, listening to me.
Her heart and soul were calm, allowing me to see the flow of her spiritual elemental magic inside her body, which hadn't developed since I last saw her.
