Chapter 7 - Crazy System Mission

If he messed up… She would kill him. So he started.

Two long, tense minutes passed.

Rebbica stood in front of Axel with her arms still folded, expression unreadable, eyes sharp and unblinking. The knife was tucked back into her pocket, but the dangerous aura clung to her like a second skin. Axel sat tied to the chair, chest heaving, eyes darting from her face to the glowing status screen still floating faintly in the air.

Finally, she spoke.

"So…"

Her voice was flat, slow, like she was repeating something completely absurd.

"You're telling me… you ate some shitty-looking ball… and then you got a system?"

Axel nodded timidly.

"One like those fantasy novel systems, ahhaa?" she continued, raising a brow with a humorless scoff.

Again, Axel nodded more hesitantly this time.

"And then that system gave you quests… which, if you didn't do, then you were gonna die…"

She leaned forward slightly.

"Like sleeping with one hundred women in one year."

"One hundred virgin women, babby…" Axel corrected nervously, voice barely above a whisper.

Rebbica stared at him. Then slowly repeated:

"One hundred… virgin women… in one year."

Her eyes narrowed dangerously.

"And if you don't do that, you'll be tortured?" she continued, tone becoming icy. "And you gotta have sex every twenty-four hours or you'll die and be tortured by some Demon Lord lady…?"

Axel swallowed hard and nodded.

Rebbica's eyes grew sharper with each word she repeated. She looked like she was being forced to recite a script written by a madman.

Her jaw clenched.

"And it can also give you missions whenever it wants," she said, voice tightening, "and you'd have to listen no matter what… or you'll be turned into a sissy and thrown into some… orges and goblins breeding cave…?"

Axel nodded again, this time even faster.

Rebbica blinked once.

Then twice.

Then she inhaled slowly ..dangerously slow and tilted her head.

"Like really?" she whispered, voice trembling with disbelief. "Do you think I'm crazy?"

Axel nodded again.

He didn't mean to his terror moved faster than his brain but he nodded.

Rebbica froze.

Her face went blank.

A cold, chilling silence wrapped around her.

She tilted her head further.

"…No, no, NO that's not what I meant!" Axel stammered immediately as realising what he just did, shaking his head so quickly his hair whipped around. "I didn't mean it like that!"

Her eyes sharpened into a blade.

"I might be crazy," she said in a voice that thundered through the empty factory, "but I am DEFINITELY NOT CRAZY ENOUGH TO BELIEVE THIS FUCKING BULLSHIT."

Her shout echoed off the metal walls, making Axel flinch so hard his whole chair rattled.

"Have you taken me for some idiot? HAAAAA???" she demanded, taking a step toward him.

"No no no no, babby no!" Axel cried, shaking his head violently. "I'm telling the truth! You literally saw the bullets stop by themselves, right?!"

He gestured desperately toward the floating blue panel still shimmering faintly.

"It's because of THIS! The system window!"

He gulped hard.

"You haven't seen it before, so you didn't know, but THIS ONE THIS is what stopped the bullets, babby Well hou haven't seen it since all this time meansss Only i am who can see it!"

Rebbica froze again.

She looked at him.

Then at the crushed bullets.

Then back into his terrified eyes.

Her lashes trembled.

Yeah she cant see anything.. But if he is saying so..

Her thoughts circled in a deep, heavy loop.

She knew Axel. She had known him for ten years. He wasn't bold. He wasn't daring. He wasn't brave enough to pull a lie like this especially when she already had him tied, bleeding fear, and practically begging for his life.

He had confessed quickly. Too quickly. With the desperation of someone who wasn't smart enough to fabricate something so complicated under pressure.

And the bullets…

Those bullets had hit something solid definitely..

Something invisible.

Even if she didn't believe in supernatural things…

Axel didn't have the brain or guts to invent this kind of story while almost dying.

She lowered her head slightly, thinking deeply, chewing on the inside of her cheek. He watched her with wide, trembling eyes ..eyes of a terrified puppy staring at his owner, praying not to be kicked again.

"Alright…" she said finally.

Axel held his breath.

"I'll believe it."

He let out a breath so relieved it sounded like a dying sigh.

"But…" Rebbica continued slowly, "prove it to me."

Axel froze.

"If you cannot," she added with a sweet but deadly smile, "I will still kill you."

His relief died instantly.

"So you better prove something to meeeee."

Her tone stretched in a threatening melody.

Axel's mind spun in circles.

"I… I… b-but howww…?" he stammered, his breath trembling. "I don't know how to prove it yet.. I just got the system too I don't know much about it…"

He forced himself to meet her eyes, his own filled with fear and pleading.

Rebbica softened barely.

She bent down slightly, meeting him at eye level.

"Take your time, baby," she murmured, though her voice still held danger beneath the softness. "I really want you to be able to prove it too… Beleive me.. I want this more then you can ever."

Her eyes glistened wet, emotional, unstable.

But hopeful.

Axel swallowed again and nodded frantically.

"Yes, yes.. okay okay just give me a moment"

He turned his eyes toward the floating blue status window hovering stubbornly in front of him. The text shimmered faintly, as though responding to his attention.

He stared at it really stared at it for the first time since it appeared.

His heart hammered.

His breath trembled.

His mind spun with one desperate thought:

There HAS to be something here… something that can save my life…

His eyes slowly scanned the glowing letters.

STATUS WINDOW

The numbers.

The stats.

The functions.

Everything spread before him like the instructions to either his salvation or his funeral.

And for the first time since the system appeared…

He began analyzing it not as a strange shock but as the one fragile thread that might keep him alive for the next few minutes.

His eyes darted across the glowing blue status window, scanning everything with trembling urgency. The longer he looked, the worse he felt.

His stats.

Strength: 2

Stamina: 3

Speed: 2

Vitality: 1

…Wow. They were fucking low.

He didn't even know what the maximum was supposed to be, but something told him that whatever the scale was these numbers were embarrassingly pathetic.

"Great," he whispered under his breath. "I'm not just weak… I'm actually poverty-level weak."

But he shoved that panic aside. His life did not need another crisis right now. Stats wouldn't save him at this moment anyway not when tied to a chair in front of his unstable knife-carrying girlfriend.

He kept scanning.

Then something caught his eye.

Harem Members: 1

He blinked.

"…Huh?" When did that happen?

How??

Curiosity snapped through him. His fingers twitched instinctively and as if the system were a giant, deadly smartphone, he tapped the line.

A new tab slid open in shimmering blue light.

Axel's breath caught as an entirely new page filled the air

Axel kept staring at the endless wall of blue text, scrolling… scrolling… scrolling…

There was so fucking much to read.

It felt eternal. Like the system had decided to pour out Rebbica's entire psychological horror story into one infinite profile. The list of traits never seemed to end every scroll revealed some new nightmare description that made his heart squeeze tighter.

At some point he wasn't even reading the full explanations anymore. He just kept catching fragments:

"cellular-level pain"…

"flayed a girl alive"…

"breeding syringe"…

"MAX obsession"…

"god complex"…

"kill kill kill kill…"

His eyes blurred.

His brain throbbed.

Fear curled around his spine like a cold snake.

And then

"Forced breeding kink?"

"What the fuck even IS that…?" he whispered to himself, voice breaking in horror as he gulped his saliva so loudly he swore she could hear it.

He didn't want to know. He didn't even want to imagine. His mind tried and then immediately refused to fill in the blanks.

And then the love meter.

Love: 103/100

He stared at the number like it was a typo.

"How the fuck is that possible…?" he muttered hoarsely. "Meter stops at 100… how do you get OVERFLOW…"

It terrified him more than anything else.

Her love wasn't just full it had overflowed past the maximum.

How the fuck does that even work.

Then he saw it again:

Threat Level: SS+

His head snapped back.

"…What the FUCK is a threat level even supposed to mean?!" He internally screamed, eyes wide.

"SS+?? The fuck is that ranking?? Why does she have that?? What is she, a star destroyer?!

He gulped again, painfully.

Slowly nervously he lifted his head from the glowing blue system panel.

Rebbica was standing right there in front of him.

Her large dark eyes gazed down at him with the gentlest, softest, most innocent smile he had ever seen from her. A smile so sweet it made his stomach twist because he had just read that she once almost skinned a girl alive "with love."

She nodded at him.

He nodded back stiffly. Very, very stiffly.

Then he looked back down into the system again, refusing to open the Harem info tab ever again in his life unless forced by literal death.

Which… might happen today anyway, so

He jerked his mind away from that thought and dropped back into the status window.

As his gaze traveled down the categories, he noticed something he had overlooked earlier.

Affection Points: 0

Love Points: 103

He blinked at the numbers.

His brain replayed the earlier system page.

Right.

Love Points came from Rebbica.

And she was… well, that.

He scrolled down further, eyes searching desperately for something anything that might help prove the system's existence.

His gaze caught onto the next big section:

Shop

System Lottery

A spark of hope flickered in his chest.

He inhaled sharply and tapped on the Shop button.

The moment he did, the status window expanded, sliding into a giant scrolling catalog that felt impossibly long. Item after item after item flickered into existence.

A bike.

A piece of bread.

A fidget spinner.

A fucking rocket launcher?!?!

It was literally everything.

An entire reality-sized marketplace.

Under each item, different price tags apeared.. Just different currency having different price.. Like love points were ten times more expensive them affection point's.

Of course they were… Because Rebbica had overfilled hers like a broken water tank.

He didn't concentrate on the items much. He wasn't shopping. He wasn't looking for luxury.

He was looking for proof.

For a miracle.

For something that would make Rebbica believe him before she slit his throat open.

He scrolled randomly and tapped the first item he stopped on anything, literally anything.

Price: 30 AP

or

Price: 3 LP

He bought it.

The system chimed.

[Item Purchased!]

[Your item has been placed in the System Inventory.]

[Host may retrieve item anytime by simply thinking about it.]

A wave of pure joy washed through Axel's chest.

His eyes widened.

His lips parted.

Yes.

YES.

This.

THIS was the proof he needed!

He could pull an item out of thin air right in front of her and she'd HAVE to believe him! She'd see it! She'd see everything he claimed was real!

He opened his mouth to call out to her

But before he could even breathe

A loud, sharp DING!! echoed in his skull.

A new notification flashed violently across the screen.

[System Mission: Kiss your crazy girlfriend's mother's pussy]
